Day 77 — “Faith That Saves”
Joshua 2

Joshua 2 reminds us that God’s saving grace often shows up in the most unexpected places and through the most unexpected people.

Rahab was a woman with a broken past and a reputation that would have caused many to write her off. She lived in a pagan city marked for judgment. From a human perspective, she seemed far from God and far from hope. But when she heard about the power of the Lord and believed that He was the true God, everything changed.

Rahab’s faith was not just something she felt inwardly—it moved her to act. She hid the spies, risked her life, and placed her trust in the God of Israel. In doing so, she became a beautiful picture of what saving faith looks like: hearing the truth, believing it, and responding in obedience.

What is so powerful about this chapter is that Rahab’s faith did not impact her alone. Her faith became the means by which her household was spared. This is a reminder that God’s grace is bigger than our past, stronger than our shame, and able to reach into places we might assume are too far gone.

Joshua 2 is a chapter of hope. It shows us that no background disqualifies someone from the mercy of God. No label is greater than His grace. No past is beyond redemption. The same God who saved Rahab is still saving people today—people with messy stories, painful histories, and unlikely beginnings.

Faith that saves is not about having it all together. It is about placing your trust in the right Savior.

Today’s episode is a reminder that God delights in rescuing people, rewriting stories, and bringing outsiders into His family. Rahab’s story proves that grace crosses boundaries, breaks barriers, and changes destinies.
