Day 88 — “Choose Whom You Will Serve”
Joshua 24
At the end of Joshua’s life, he gathers the people and calls them to remember everything God has done—His faithfulness, His provision, His power, His presence through every season. And after reminding them of all of that, Joshua brings them to a moment of decision:
“Choose this day whom you will serve.”
After all the victories…
After all the promises fulfilled…
After everything they had seen God do…
It still came down to a choice.
Because faith is never automatic. It’s never inherited. It’s never sustained by yesterday’s decisions alone. Faith requires ongoing commitment. It requires a settled direction of the heart.
Joshua makes it personal when he says, “But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
That’s leadership.
That’s clarity.
That’s conviction.
And that same question still stands for us today.
Not in theory—but in reality.
Who—or what—is shaping your life right now?
What is actually influencing your decisions, your priorities, your direction?
Because we don’t drift into faithfulness.
We choose it.
Every day.
In the big moments and the small ones.
So today isn’t just another day—it’s a decision point.
Choose whom you will serve.
