Day 121 — “Impatience That Cost a Kingdom”
📖 1 Samuel 13

How many battles have been made harder because we refused to wait on God?

In 1 Samuel 13, Saul stood under pressure. The enemy was gathering. The people were scattering. Samuel was delayed. And in a moment of fear, Saul took matters into his own hands. What looked like leadership on the outside was actually rebellion in the heart. Saul offered what only God had authorized another to do—and in one impatient decision, he revealed that he trusted his own instincts more than God’s timing.

This chapter reminds us of a powerful truth: delayed does not mean denied, and pressure does not give us permission to disobey. God is never late. He is never scrambling. He is never reacting. When we move ahead of Him, we often step outside of His best.

🔥 Today’s challenge:
Where are you tempted to force what God has called you to wait for?
Don’t trade a kingdom for a moment of impatience.
Obedience in the waiting is still obedience.
