David did everything right… and still became a target.
He served faithfully.
He honored authority.
He fought God’s battles.
And yet jealousy turned into betrayal… and betrayal turned into an assassination attempt.
Spears were thrown.
Soldiers were sent.
Escape became necessary.
But through every attack, one truth became undeniable:
👉 What God protects… no enemy can destroy.
In 1 Samuel 19, we see God preserve David through faithful friends, unexpected deliverance, and the undeniable power of His presence. Jonathan warned him. Michal helped him escape. Samuel covered him. And when Saul tried to stop God’s plan… even kings became powerless in the presence of God.
The lesson is clear:
