The lions’ den didn’t create Daniel’s faith—it revealed it.
When the decree was signed and prayer could cost Daniel his life, he didn’t panic, compromise, or hide. He simply continued doing what he had always done: he prayed, trusted God, and remained faithful.
Daniel didn’t know God would shut the lions’ mouths. He simply knew that God was worthy of his obedience regardless of the outcome.
That’s the kind of faith we need today.
Some trials God delivers us from.
Others He carries us through.
But in every circumstance, He remains sovereign, faithful, and worthy of our trust.
And Daniel’s story ultimately reminds us of an even greater victory. Daniel walked out of the lions’ den alive, but Jesus walked out of the grave victorious over sin and death forever.
Whatever lions you are facing today:
Keep praying.
Keep obeying.
