Show Notes

Has it been a year already? Yes - and what a year it's been! Exactly one year (and one day) ago, we did our very first episode.  Since then our audience has grown and our listeners have been very enthusiastic - thanks to everyone for listening! Today we're rewarding you, loyal fans.  We've got fantastic stories about icons like Joe DiMaggio, Rocky Balboa, Pete Rose, the Dallas Cowboys and Notre Dame football; and as always we've got lots of stories about things and people you might never have heard about - like the NHL changing its rules because of train schedules, the first player called up to the NBA from the D-League, the only NBA player under 6 feet tall with over 3,000 rebounds and a Canadiens game played with a Norwegian King sitting right behind the bench! On top of all that, our first guest from our first show joins us to celebrate our anniversary.  MLB All-Star pitcher and bestselling author Bob Tewksbury is back again to help with our DORK DRAFT.  Bob is celebrating his birthday in a few days, so he asked us to pick our best teams of fellow Sagittariuses (is that how you say it?). Bob is one of the great characters in baseball history and his combination of humour, insight and insults to the three of us is unparalleled.  Join us on YouTube or wherever you get your podcasts. Happy Anniversary, friends!
