The Visibility Impact Show: Marketing & Growth for Women Entrepreneurs
Every day you show up...that's building a business. [180]
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Showing up helps you become consistent.
Businesses aren't built in a day. There are no overnight successes. It's the day in and day out that builds the business, the places where you choose to show up consistently.

I remember back in the days when I wasn't consistent, I remember when consistency was not my superpower. And I definitely say that I feel like the strength of my business has been in the consistent ways that I show up. But I remember before that, right, and I put this quote on my page a couple of days ago, well, a couple weeks ago, your small business isn't built in one day. It's built every day, you show up. Remember that, and it's so true, because I remember trying things for a couple days, and they didn't work, and I stopped. And this isn't just in business, this isn't life to write like, oh, the gym didn't feel so good this week, not gonna do that again, right? Or that workout didn't feel good. So I'm not going to do that. Again, I remember joining programs, thinking that there was going to be instant changes in my business, or working with a coach thinking that oh, this is what's going to blow my business up. The thing was, is that all of it would have worked, right. But I was not consistently implementing. I talk about this all the time to my inner circle and the people in my programs. I am here to deliver the information to you, I am here to teach you the best ways that I know how, however, I can't love your business more than you do. You get to show up every single day. My mentor always did this training on like, what's most important because one of the things I hear is I just don't have the time. We do have the time. And that's just all there is to it. It's what is the priority? Is your business worth getting up a little bit more, you know, early for is your business day. Or if you're a night owl staying up later for the consistent actions that we take are the results that we get, right. So if we're consistently working on something else, or we're consistently spending money or consistently, eating fast food, we're gonna see a result we probably don't like Right. But if we are consistently working our business, we're consistently doing the things he does not have to take a ton of time. I did a real the other day I was walking my dog. She was literally pooping, not gonna lie, right. But I took my phone out and I said, you could change somebody's life in 30 seconds. Like, how long is this video? Oh, we're 28 seconds like, all you need to do is pull your phone out. You don't have to be perfect. You don't have to be done up. You don't have to be like any special way. Yesterday, I recorded videos for my program and my eyes swollen and it's blood red. And I just did it because I promised them deliverability deliverables of today. Now why may go back and re re record it? Maybe eventually? I don't know. But I wanted to be my word. The question is, are you being your word to yourself? Are you being your word to your business? Are you showing up consistently? And I don't mean that has to be video? I don't mean it has to be anything. But are you taking consistent inspired action to get the results that you want? I see so many people out there saying, Yeah, I've worked with a ton of coaches and it doesn't work, you know, probably not? Probably not, because they aren't doing it for you. And this was an something I had to realize. I thought the first time I joined a high level program that things would just magically turn around. And that was not the case. Your coach your mentor, whoever you work with cannot love your business more than you do. My friend Kelly says this all the time. I can't love your business more than you do. When are you going to start saying yes. When are you going to start finding the time? If I told you, you could create a reel and 30 seconds or less, maybe take you five minutes to total of posting it and putting in a caption. What would your excuse be then? So many times we want to complain about so many things. And it all starts with our content. It all starts with our content. So show up every single day, giving major value positioning yourself as the expert building relationships with their audience, versus trying to motivate them all the time because that gets us friendzone. You can motivate them sometimes but don't make that the priority of all of your content. Show them what you can support them with show them how you can serve them, show them and give them little tangible things that they can take action steps that they can take to make a difference in their lives. is to make a difference in their life, whatever it is, and whoever you serve, right? Show up every single day doesn't even have to be on camera. But show up for your business, take inspired action to get the results that you want. Make it your mission for your superpower to be consistent. It's a compound effect. My all time favorite book. It's actually my second favorite book now, but it has been my favorite book for I think, 10 years, I can't remember when it came out. It was the first business development personal development book I ever read. And it just stuck with me to this day in my personal life and my business life. What there's a quote that says don't expect results for the consistent actions that you didn't put in or something like that. And that's true in every single area of our life. So what consistent action are you going to start taking? When are you gonna stop telling yourself and making excuses and putting in the work the consistent actions for what the for the result that you want? And if you ever need support with that I am here. I feel like it has been a journey for me. But the thing that I know is that I'm not going to complain about results if I was not consistent with the actions to get there.
