It's November 2022, is not over yet. So ready to move. It doesn't mean we can't take a break. It doesn't mean we can't enjoy our holidays like what all is available are starting, ignite your visibility on Instagram, coming up on the 28th of November and that is going to help you streamline your Instagram experience, understand fully know what type of content to be putting on there and understand all the ins and outs real stories. He posts all the things so that you can create a raving fan audience there, make sure you check it out visibility queen.com We know that running a business is hard. And momming is hard. And I wrote a post and I wanted to just kind of give you not only a little chuckle, but help you understand how if you survive the mommy years, and even if you're a fair mom, like, let's be honest, cleaning up dog poop, and puke. And cats for that matter, too, is no walk in the park like animals are just as needy. But anyhow, I just know that I'll never forget when I had my first kid and my mom came up for a week, she lives four hours away. And basically it was like here, I'm gonna show you how to do this help you do this, and I'm leaving you by right. And it's like, wait a minute, that was a week like this, this thing just like sleeps a lot, right? Like, what am I gonna do? Now? Like, what do I do when the little belly button thing falls off? Like what do I do? You know, if they won't eat like, What do I like? What do I do, right? There's like no manual. And so it was very stressful when she left. And looking back, like I totally deserved a coach for that. And I had no support system. Where I lived my like I said my parents lived four hours away, the closest family I had was two hours away. And it wasn't like something I could just all of a sudden run and do right? Or run and get them if I needed them. They were what they were not near. And my husband worked and and not from home. And so but when I realized that mommy and running a business are really similar, and here's how. So one of the things when I felt so alone was I I'm just gonna say this out loud, because it might be a little embarrassing and age myself. But Facebook was not an option when my son was born. And so I would look for like forums and things like that that answer questions. But remember, we feel alone because we're not reaching out, right? We're in this as a business owner as well, because we're so like, we're so like, wrapped up in our house, right, and we're in our house and we are consumed by what we're doing. But remember, playdates you know, like, business owners truly need them too. And you met other moms so your kids could play and you could get a breather, and have some adult conversation. So when you find a community as a business owner, and you are able to vent to them, right? Collaborate with them, have somebody understand exactly what you're going through, you know that you always have a support system moving forward, and I want that for you. So another thing that's, like, business owner ring and mobbing at the same time is how do I deal with like clients and customers leaving me. So remember, like when you left your kid for the first time, and if you haven't, bless your heart, but how they legit hold on to your leg, like for dear life, screaming and begging you not to leave them in your heart is like literally breaking like, it is the most awful feeling experience because you're like, oh my gosh, I'm just going to grab them and run to the car, right? But you know that you need this alone time or you know, you need time and space. And it's good for you. Even though you may not understand and realize that at the moment. We just have to let clients go with grace. And just like we're looking at that sitter, whoever is trying to deal with our kid and be like, I'm so sorry, but I'm leaving. I got you got this right. The same thing when clients want to leave you, you know, yeah, we're probably going to cry about it. Yes, we are probably going to be upset. And yes, we think about the bottom line, right, the revenue that we're going to lose when that happens. But when we lose clients, there's always something better coming. And we may not always realize that, that there's something better coming and so we just have to keep telling ourselves that and understand that that's going to happen that something better will come along. It just doesn't feel like it in that moment. Just like when you finally got away from your A kid, you're like, oh my gosh, I need this. And then you come back a better person, right? Sometimes when that client leaves, you didn't realize all the stress that they brought you. And you're like, Okay, wait a minute, now I have time to actually find more clients, or now I have time to build my, my program, or now I have time to do XYZ. And it's like, almost like, okay, like, you understand eventually, why they left in that it's a good thing, but maybe not in the moment. And it's the same thing. When you drop your kid off, and they're screaming, they want you to, like, literally hold on to your leg. But then remember to in the future, you're going to outgrow clients as well. And then you'll be the one doing the leaving. So remember, eventually, it'll work both ways. One of the things I hear business owners say all the time business owners entrepreneurs, is that, you know, how do I deal with the moments I want to quit? It's kind of like those terrible two moments are those toddler moments when your kid like wants the toy, or, you know, they decide to do that like exorcist type breakdancing lucky move in the middle of the store, and you're mortified. I'll never forget, when my son did this move, it was in the middle of a mall. I feel like malls are as popular now as they were when he was little. But he literally just decided to do this crazy breakdance scream in the middle of the mall. And he literally just said over to the side, and cross my arms and just let him finish. Because if you've ever tried to get a child out of those situations, all we do is make them worse, right? Sometimes we just make them worse. So we just let them do their thing. And that's the same thing with us. We we get to just have our moment, understand it's going to pass, we didn't walk away and leave our kid, right? We made the best of the situation. And when moments come that you want to quit your business, you're gonna make the best out of that situation, too. So how do I market my business is another question that people ask. And the best way to explain this, like momming is when you dress up your kid, right? And you take all these photos, and then you post them on social media. And what happens, you get a ton of comments, and people telling you how precious he or she is, and how great of a mom you are. And then you send out cards and party invites for birthdays or events, or playdates, and people show up, right? The same thing happens for your business, we get to let people see how we are doing. Let them see the stages of your business, what new offers you have, right like the new outfit you put on your kid, or the new toy that Granny got him. And so when we do that, people get the opportunity to see and be able to support you, and comment on how precious your offer is, and or the results that you've gotten for others. And then you can invite them to things right. And so it's very similar, you can invite them to download a free offer you have in exchange for your email address. So it's all about showing up, right? showing it off a little bit, and inviting. And it's the same thing we do with our kids. So I also here, how do I deal with people that are difficult? We always deal with difficult people, right? And deal with non pays. And it's kind of like imagine or remember, actually don't imagine remember, the sniper blowouts. Remember when you never knew they were coming. But you knew that they always work, right? We always experienced diaper blowouts. And they're a mess. You know, because there's a lot of poop that we deal with as moms there's poop in diapers coming out of diapers going up the back. It really can be a mess, but it happens to all of us. And the same thing. With being a business owner. We cannot avoid difficult situations. They're going to happen in every area of your life. So we can do our best to avoid them, but also be prepared to handle them when they come our way. And don't forget to have lots of wipes on hands. Poop obviously stinks. And so to non paced and difficult people, but it's just part of owning a business. So handle with grace, just like you did those discussing divert. So, I also hear how do I network with strangers and I don't want to seem salesy, right. And I hear this so often. And I want you to remember when you took your kid to the grocery store, maybe your first activity, maybe it was like sports or dance or like cheerleading like I do with my daughter, you legit sit in this room with other people, and maybe you get to watch through a window of what your kids are doing. And you're like, You're laughing because they do something crazy. And then, you know, you probably say, oh my gosh, I can't believe my kids did that. And then they're like, Well, you said to your kid, my daughter's right there, right? And then you start talking about how they do the same things and you find things in common, which starts with your kids both being in this program, right. And so you find that common denominator. And it's the same thing. When you have a business, you find things you have in common with strangers, and that creates relationships, that could turn into a future customer that could turn into future collaborations that could turn into your future best friend, you literally never know where it's gonna turn. But you have to actually talk to people to be able to find out what those common things that you have are, or otherwise you never know, right? So we have to put ourselves out there and do a little investigating. And a little more, I'm more interested in you than trying to be interesting to you kind of thing, right? Be more interested than interesting. The next one is how do I launch my next offer? Oh, my goodness, I hear this so much. So want you to remember, or maybe you're going through it now, when your kid is like, in love with a show or a movie. And you got so tired of watching it, that your kid loved it and would not stop would not thought, right. So basically, you're going to do that you're going to be a rerun, to your audience, you're going to talk about your offer, and the value and all of that so much that you get tired of hearing yourself talk about it, you're going to show it big, you're gonna show up loud, and preferably on video over and over to grab their attention. So how you do everything is how you do anything. And what happens when we do this is our audience really starts to understand, oh my gosh, this person is like really showing up? You know, I thought I started saw them talking about that the other day. I feel like they're talking to me, I feel like I need this. And they're going to say yes to the thing. Maybe not in your first lunch because most of people's first launches just don't go the way we think they should. But, and your second, third, fourth, every time you do it, you're gonna get better. So I want you to know that momming In business running a business are hard, right? I mean, it's just it is the way it is. But you didn't give up on momming Just because it got difficult, you push forward and you're dealing with the growing pains, the tantrums, the teenage puberty, and all the fun in between you have raised or you are raising an amazing kid.
