It's day 4 of the sprint and WOW things are getting hard already.  I feel like I'm living the quote I posted... "Set a goal SO HIGH that you can't achieve it until you GROW INTO THE PERSON WHO CAN!"  I'm growing already, but that is what these uncomfortable things do.

And I want to talk about the power of a community the power of a coach, the power, the power of business besties business partners, whatever you want to call them, right? Because as a business owner, I'll be honest, my husband is a business owner, but he's a lot different business owner than I am. And he may say, especially if he's listening to this, and he understands everything I'm going through. But I digress. I don't agree. Being in the business day in and day out, is so hard, right? And it's easy to talk to others about your celebrations, right? And when amazing things happen. What's not easy is talking about the sucky moments like where do you want to quit, right? And so yesterday was a really hard day. And it was hard, it was hard. And you have that moment where you want to quit? And you're like, why am I doing this? And nobody can say anything. That's right. In that moment, no one, no one can make you feel better. Because at the end of the day, you have to come up with that on your own people can try to make you laugh, people can try to make you feel better. But at the end of the day, the only thing that works is when you're ready to be in a better mood, right? And when bad things happen, there are so many different stories we can tell ourselves. And I've noticed and even in the past, my coach has said, would this bother you as much? If you were where you wanted to be? Would this bother you as much if you had like a big reserve with? And the answer is no. Right? They wouldn't bother me as much. Because you always have that safety net, right? It's kind of like if you lose a job, right? If you lost your job, and you had six or 12 months saved, it wouldn't be as dire as if you were literally living paycheck to paycheck, you get no severance, you don't get unemployment, right? You're like, you're literally you have you have no idea where your next meal is gonna come from. And so that is true about a business owner, right? Like, if you don't have reserves, if you don't have that safety net, then what are you going to do? Right? In some ways, it seems so easy to make money, but on the other it seems so hard. So what mindset Are you in in that moment? And how are you feeling approaching and that potential new revenue right? And so I talking about like a mentor and talking about a coach and talking about a community and all those things. It's so vital, because sometimes they try to cheer you up sometimes they just listen. Sometimes they actually know when to say the right thing. But I in there are moments that I don't think anybody could say the right thing. Depending on the mindset that you're in, I'll never forget one of my lowest moments. I was encouraged to listen to it if you have not listened to this long as you're okay with F bombs. Like it's so funny. It's so crazy that oh my god who is it? Now the name is not coming to me. It's the it's what is it called something decision. Now I'm not gonna completely like I'm not gonna be able to think through this. Pause with me a second as I find that because it's gonna drive me crazy. The decision by Kevin Hart thank God for pause right? So it is filled with F bombs. It's filled with cursing, not ever gonna sugarcoat this. But at a time when I was super low in my business, I in my mind He said, I listened to this. And first of all, who expects to get tough love. Like, come on, like Kevin Hart. Kevin Hart giving tough love. Are you kidding me? Kevin Hart can give you some tough love and make you laugh, like, crack up laughing, crying. And I think in the moment that my business was at one of its lowest points that audiobook, I don't know if it's actually a book because it can't imagine reading it because listening to Kevin Hart read it, like and talk about it like, is like, so awesome, right? You feel like, you're at a personal development comedy show the whole time you're listening to it. And matter of fact, just a great book to read, listen to, I should totally re listen to it. But um, it was just everything I needed. Because I feel like when you start giggling, right, like Kevin Hart, even though you don't want to laugh, and you don't want to smile, and you start giggling, and then he says something like, you know, that's tough love ish. Like, this is your fault. Like you need to you need to fix this, like you were where you're at, because of the choices you make, you know, and blah, blah, blah. It's like, oh, my gosh, literally, you just made me crack up laughing and I have tears on my face. And now, you're literally scolding me. And I love it. And you're right, you're totally right. Every decision I make is the reason of where I'm at 100%. I agree with you, Kevin Hart. Thank you, thank you for preaching to me right now, because I needed to listen to it. And so I love the power of audiobooks. I love the power of community. I love the power of coaching and mentoring and business besties, and accountability partners and all those things, because collectively, somebody is going to get through to you. And sometimes we just need to sleep on it. Right? I slept on it, I woke up feeling much better. You know. And the thing is, is that when people leave you, it's rarely personal. Maybe they've gotten enough from your program, maybe they've, you know, maybe financially they just can't stay. Maybe they're not getting enough for your program, because they're not implementing what they're taught. The other thing I found is that when people typically don't show up for college, they do not renew because they don't know the value. You know, I in the mastermind that I've been in for over three years. I literally look at people I'm like, What is wrong with you? Why are you leaving? And this is the mastermind mastermind I paid for this is not a mastermind, that, that people are paying me for? What is wrong with you? Why believing? Like you're insane. There is so much value in this group. There's so much mindset work we get in this group, there's so much like, I cannot imagine why anybody would want to leave. I mean, so that's me. I love truly hard. Probably too hard sometimes. And when I believe in somebody, when I trust in somebody, I do not leave. I asked my business bestie she's been coaching me for God, six years now, I don't know, it's been a really long time. But I love her. And even though sometimes I feel like it may be a conflict, that we know so much about each other. She pretty much always knows the right thing to say she sometimes, I don't like what she says. And sometimes it pisses me off. But every trigger and every action, there's something deeper, right? And then I have time to process it. And I figure it out. And I understand why she says the things that she said, even if I didn't like them in the moment. So it's kind of like when you're growing up and your parents tell you something, right? And you don't like it in the moment. But then maybe you realize they protected you. They saved you from something they helped you think a little bit more clearly about it. I'll never forget one time one of my kids not gonna name them out on this but went to a party and we just kind of we really were like, No, we don't think this is good idea. Oh, blah. Did not say long at the party came back very fast. Because we think what we said probably this child saw it right. And so even though sometimes kids try to prove parents wrong, like oh, no, I'm sticking the sticks. I'm never gonna let them know they're right. Then this instance that was not the case. And although we never said we told you so we never said what happened. We just assume right? Something happened to make this child come home early. Very, very early from a party Um, that we didn't want them to go to. So it's kind of like that, right? Like, you don't want to hear it in the moment. But you realize that they were right after all. So there's so much power in that community, I would not be where I'm at. With our community, I would not be where I'm at without coaching, I would not be where I'm at without mentoring. And that is one of the reasons that I created my own inner circle, because I want to, I want to give that back. I want to help people, I want them to grow like a business, I want them understand it's not easy. If it was easy, everybody would do it. I want them to understand that, you know, yes, my, my main focus is to teach you how to market your business. But that's not it. We're working on mindset, we're working on money box, we're working on all these things. Because being a business owner is more than just marketing your business. Yes, that's gonna help you get sales, right, it's going to help you be seen all of it's really, really important. But there's so many more deeper levels to that. And anything, if I can do anything to help another business owner, feel less stressed or overwhelmed, because they have my support, and the support of the community that I'm building. That is the best feeling ever. It's the best feeling ever, like it is the best feeling ever. You know, so many people talk about like their five year plan, and you know, they want to work less and spend more time with family. And then there's nothing wrong with that. But I cannot imagine spending less time giving and supporting and loving on the people that need my support. Like I can not imagine it. Like literally, I'm probably gonna be the only eight year old still, like going and doing tic TOCs. I don't even know if tic tock will be like big then. But I'm literally going to be like doing tic TOCs. And still supporting people still helping people. So giving tough love, still motivating them. So getting them on video, because there will always be somebody that needs to get on video that is struggling with it. It's it may be second nature to some people growing up. But there are some people who are still very reserved, there's still people that are going to struggle with it. And then once we get on video, what do we do with that? What's our strategy? How do we build influence? How do we do all those things? Right? How do we, you know, hook them in? With that three second hook at the beginning of our video? How do we do all those things? So anyhow, those are my thoughts on day four. I haven't quit yet. So that's good. And I'm gonna keep going. And I've learned a lot in the past 24 hours. Now continue to learn. A sprint isn't supposed to be easy. A sprint isn't supposed to be comfortable. A sprint is supposed to test me and challenge me in every way. So that I come out on the 91st day. A totally different person. And I came in as and that's what this sprint is truly about. Can it's like Survivor, right survival of the fittest, or Naked and Afraid. Literally it is I think it's more like Naked and Afraid. Let's be honest, I've only watched a show a couple times because I had to watch it. But literally, I am baring my soul to you right now. And you're really feeling naked right now. Even though I'm not on video, you're hearing my voice. You're hearing my thoughts. You're hearing me process everything that's happened in the last 24 hours. Because yesterday's podcast was early in the morning. So like so much has happened. And today's is a six o'clock at night. And so yes, this is Naked and Afraid 100% I am baring my soul to you, which is probably harder than literally flashing you right now. So we're going to end on that note, because I don't know what else I'm gonna say. I love you. Thank you for listening. Make sure you share this with your friends. Let's teach people that entrepreneurship isn't hard. But or entrepreneurship isn't easy. But it's a lot easier and funner and more manageable when we have support of a community, a mentor, a coach, and those around us who want to guide us to do the right thing.
