Let's chat about commitment.
What does it mean to you?
Do you approach commitment with fear based actions or with actions that come from taking radical responsibility?

I want to chat about commitment today. And I think a lot of times commitment is harder for us than the actual payment, or the payment of the commitment over a certain amount of time. And I used to be so afraid of committing. And it's one of the reasons that my first mastermind that I joined, that was in for four years, let me be clear, I was in for four years. But I was afraid of making a year commitment because I could not see, I could not see what would happen a year later. Right. I didn't know where my business was going to be a year later. And I want to put this in the context for a second of marriage. Right? And maybe you don't believe in marriage. So this doesn't even apply to you. But when we get married, we are making a commitment. There is in our mind, right? It is till death do us part, or at least that's typically what we say. And we don't we we typically don't go into the marriage saying, oh my god, what if I get a divorce? But if you do, and that's all you can think about is what if I get a divorce? What if I get a divorce, whatever get a divorce? Do you think the marriage is going to last? Do you think the marriage is going to last? Because the same thing happens in business? Like, if you let's say, you say I'm going to join a six or 12 month program, I'm making the commitment. But from day one, all you're thinking about is what if my business doesn't last? What if my business doesn't last? What if my business doesn't last? What if I fail? What if I bla bla bla bla bla bla? Well, first of all, you're gonna fail everybody does. But what if I, like literally, like, lose everything? What if I have all won? The more you tell yourself that the more you are conditioning for that to happen? So the same thing in marriage, right? Like, what if it doesn't last? What if he cheats on me? What if she cheats on me? What if bla bla bla and you literally everything you do leads with those actions, right? It leads with the fear. Because the fear is what is in your head, the fear is what is literally like that stock ticker at the bottom of the news channel. It is literally a stock ticker in your brain saying these things you over and over. So your actions are led by fear, not confidence, not commitment, not courage, they are being led by fear. How many marriages, we will need to say work out how many marriages are happy, right or happy when there is always that jealous one that is always worried that somebody's going to take the other one away? How do those feel? This can even go into selling right? If you always feel like you have to have that sale? Like it's going to be the savior of your business. Is that like needy energy? Or is that like desire energy, right? Commitment is huge. And when we put a ring on it, that is a big commitment with no end date. But we don't walk into a marriage. And first of all marriages don't work out all the time. I'm not trying to acknowledge that. But most of us walk into a marriage thinking it's for life. Or at least that's our intention. When we say I do, or I will. We don't walk in with the attention that is never going to last because otherwise why are we doing it? And horses are expensive, right? So the same thing with your business when you are joining a program or a mastermind or a one on one? Are you setting yourself up for failure from day one? Or are you not even allowing yourself to make the commitment because you're being led by fear based decisions? The fear in your head is stopping you from doing amazing things. The fear in your head is showing up in everything that you do. Whether you believe it or not. And whether people understand that that's why you're doing that they don't know. But something's just off to them. And your messaging and your programming and your videos. The way you stand the way you talk your body language. It's all sending out red flags, if it is fear, led and fear based decisions. The fear is never going to go away when we have to make a commitment. I do want to say that but we can still lead and walk in and be courageous and be excited He did write, instead of I'm nervous, I'm excited. Instead of I'm scared, I get to do this, I chose this. I don't have to be an entrepreneur, I don't have to be a CEO or business owner, I get to be I chose this. And so I'm taking all the fears and everything that goes with it, and I'm pushing through. Because I know what I bring to the table. Commitment is hard commitment is scary. But every time I have signed up for something that has been a commitment, it's like, the hard times where I feel like I can't make that payment. I've grown so much more. Because there are probably going to be those moments, right? Or when we have unexpected things happen on our personal side, that we need to take more money from the business or pay ourselves more that month, right? Like these things happen. And the, the courage and the, the moving forward, and the doing it still, even when it's scary, and even when it feels hard. That's growth. People that just quit ghost people and walk away. They're not growing, that's not growth. So ask yourself this. Am I willing to make a commitment? Even if it's scary? Am I willing to be led by courageous actions and inspired actions and radical responsibility? Or am I going to do everything and are all my actions going to be very fear led? Because there's a difference? And what are you choosing? What are you saying to yourself? That's the question I have for you. Because it makes a big difference in everything that you do in the future.
