The hard times are what made me a better person, especially as an entrepreneur and CEO. The breakdowns, failures, faceplants and what we choose in the moment we are in them.

Sometimes I'm not a fan. Okay, I'm never a fan of all the hard times, and the failures, and the times where I would wake up with anxiety attacks, because my business wasn't where I wanted it to be. And if you remember yesterday's episode, we talked a lot about not waiting and doing all those things. Well, the pre me before all of those lessons, that's what I did. And so I lived my life in very up and down, right. So the highs were highs, the lows were low, and they were very low at some times. And there were many times I was about to kill my business. There were many times I thought I was done for and I was going back to work. I don't know why we think it's like deathly, yeah, what's the worst thing you go back to a nine to five until you figure it out. But I had so many fears and anxiousness and, and stress, and I allowed it to eat at me. So many times. I remember mentors trying to help me and I literally didn't listen to anything they said, because they had no idea how I felt they had no idea what I was going through, they had no idea. And that's what I said over and over and over. You're not in this situation. Now you couldn't have no idea what I'm going through. And I used to get angry. And I used to really just struggle with this right? struggle with the failure struggle with the breakdowns and struggle with all those things. And I recently helped somebody through a very similar situation. I've been very vocal about the time almost killed my business, and I was gonna quit and I was down to make $13,000 in three weeks, like I was at the end, I was done. Like I was seriously done. I had pretty much given up. And you know, although I do, those weren't fun times. Those were the times that made me right, I put a post out and said that my podcast is pretty much about all the failures I've ever had, like failures that Chrissie me years ago would have never even told my best friend. And here I am documenting them on a podcast platform. But here's the thing, no matter how ugly those times got, no matter how, like, I don't know, like toddler I acted, I guess my inner child was really struggling back then. I've grown from it right. And I and I came back I had to come back. I had a breakthrough. I had all of these things and turned it around. Every time at my lowest low, I've turned it around and I say this quote all the time. We've survived 100% of our worst days. I have you have you're still here, you're listening to this podcast, right? And when I really think about like, you know, these hard times, like I always preface this when somebody asked how I did it, how did I get through it? Because I was so public about it. I tell them, I'm going to tell you some things. You may not be ready to receive them right now. But come back and listen to this when you're in a place that you can. Because right now you think I don't understand. And you can't and I'm not going through this right now. There's no way I can absolutely imagine. But I can but it's really hard for you to comprehend that right now. Because that's the way I was. And I put myself back in the shoes that I was in back then. And remember the thoughts and the feelings that I had, remember, like scoffing that no one understood me. And I had to dig deep. And I had to really sit with myself to get through the things that I went through back then. Hard times happen to everyone. And it's not fun. But even now like there are things that happen in my business that I don't want to deal with or that are really difficult to deal with. Right. I have monthly highs I have monthly lows. And it's like the lows that I used to deal with like I'm like those are simple like those were like not that bad. But at that at that point they were right and so I get to remember that even though it's really hard for you didn't see it when you're in it. But it through it's gonna get better. But sometimes we struggle believing that but if you can keep remembering I've survived how In 2% of my worst days, I've survived 100% of my worst days. If you start going into gratitude, what are you thankful for? If you try to find the little moments in your life where there's joy, I promise you, you can turn it around. Find the joy, even if you're not making the money you want. Even if you don't know, literally where your next client is coming from, even if you don't know, find a way to find the joy in your life right now. Find the gratitude. Dig deep to it, write it down, voice it out. But really sit with that and start finding the gratitudes in every single moment that you can and you will start to see things turn around because we forget that it actually starts with us. Not with somebody saying yes to us. It starts with us.
