Choosing Happiness in the Present Moment

How happy , satisfied and grateful are you ? This is a great question to ask yourself . I talked to my momentum group about this today and I thought this was really , really important , because a lot of times we are chasing something right , we're chasing a new level , we're chasing a new revenue number , we're chasing views or to go viral , and we're never quite satisfied with where we're at now . I see this also like people can't wait to leave their nine to fives . We get to remember that . We get to be grateful and happy and satisfied in whatever situation we're in now . It's kind of like how they say if you're not happy with the money you have now , you're never going to be happy with more . Right , you're going to struggle . Yes , things would be easier , yes , all of those things . But where can you find the gratitude and the happiness ? exactly where you're at right now , because any dissatisfaction that you have now you're going to find in every other level . But if you can find the happiness and the satisfaction and the grateful attitude and everything that you have in this moment , it's also going to carry with you , right ? What is the quote that they used to say If you want more of something , have more gratitude and give more of that away , right . If you want more money , donate more money . I just thought that was always an interesting thing . The other thing that I remember reading when I was doing a money mindset course is happy money comes back to you . Sad money doesn't meaning . If I have to pay taxes , am I going to find a way to be happy about paying those taxes , the fact that I can pay those taxes , or that I can create a payment plan to pay those taxes , or I'm going to be angry and boil up about it , that I have to give the government money , right . So we always have a choice in how we see everything .

The day to day is hard , i get it . And even personal life right , like our personal life is not always like sunshine and rainbows , especially if you have kids , especially if you have moody kids , especially if you have teenagers right , like you just never know what somebody is going through or what somebody is dealing with . But it's like , at the end of the day , can I make myself happy , can I sit with myself and be happy , or am I waiting on external circumstances meaning people or things or money to make that happen ? or can I find that within myself Some days are harder than others . The hard days are what make us , not the easy days . The easy days are easy . The hard days are what make us . The hard days are what get us to where we want to go . The hard days really , really help us grow .

Can you find happiness in the stillness ? Can you show up every day for your business and be happy whether you get results or not . You always get to choose And I think we forget that sometimes . I've been using this quote a lot lately , and actually one of my friends I saw that he shared it too . But life is Like life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it . You always have a choice . You can always choose happiness . You don't need to chase happiness . You get to choose happiness right now , in this moment .

One of the things that I have found is , when it comes to happiness is being present in the moment , looking around , what is in front of you in this moment . You know , when I look around , i'm in my living room right now and my dogs are acting a fool , as per usual , right , and one of them looks like it's about rated pounds the other one , but they're so entertaining , right . They're so lovable for the most part . One of them is There is so cuddly . Well , one of them is There's one that's really easy to be around . There's one that's not as easy to be around , right , and it's like I Can see that I can enjoy that . I'm sitting here , my laptop is in front of me and I bought the laptop that I wanted it And you know , it's like I'm grateful for that . I'm sitting here without the TV on and I'm grateful for the quiet . I'm grateful for the , for the stillness .

I Did a meditation earlier tonight and I was grateful for my mind not to be going a million miles a minute and just be able to sit with Myself and do the things that the meditation was was telling me to do . You know , i still say this , like you know , like the , my husband always tries like outdo , like birthday gifts and do all these things , and one of my favorite things ever is Is bubbly water , and I love my bubbly water and I love my sparkling water and I love that I can make it as sparkling as I can . I Love that I don't have to go buy it in a can or a bottle but I can make it like at my house , you know , and it's just like the little things and being present that we can find happiness with . But Happiness in ourself has to do a lot with integrity , the way that we show up the things that we say . Are we this person That we say we are when no one's watching ? That has a lot to do with not only being happy but confident and and and and know in that , knowing that we have right .

Finding Inner Peace in Everyday Life

What if you could have non-circumstantial inner peace , like you literally are So happy with where you're at , what you have right now , right now , in this moment , and know that you're so good with yourself . Everything else is extra . If that nine to five is stressing you out , find a way to enjoy it . Find a way to say this is my path to freedom . This is going to help me create freedom . This is giving me revenue .

Until my business is giving me revenue , if your bank account isn't where you want it to be be grateful that it's where it's at . You can always make more money . We will rarely make more time . Yes , we can save time , we can delegate things , but we can't get back the time that we've already spent . Find the happiness and the gratitude and The joy and the overflow and everything that you feel right now , in this moment , in the stillness , in the quiet , in the day in and day out moments , be present . Look around at this beautiful place that you get to live in , that you get to step outside in the grass , the trees , that you get to see the animals that fly above your head Guess those would be birds , not animals and really , really soak it all in , because we forget how blessed we absolutely truly are and That our problems are something that someone else is praying for .
