Welcome back to today's Monday Minute. We have an amazing guest who you're gonna get to hear an amazing full episode coming up soon And her name is Allie. and Allie, i'm asking you today what is your best advice for entrepreneurs?
Speaker 2Yes, i think that if a lot of people are telling you no and your red flags are going off, or there's something inside you that's still saying yes, just effing like, go for it. If somebody says they don't like the way this, if 10 people say they don't like the way this looks, or you shouldn't be doing TikTok, or you shouldn't be doing ads, but everything inside of you is saying, but I think it could like go with reckless abandon until you're telling yourself no. I think that a lot of people in terms of marketing, a lot of people are saying Facebook ads aren't working. Ads don't work. That's noise And it means there's more room for you in those channels. Facebook ads, tiktok ads, pinterest ads absolutely can work for you. So if you're getting ugly negative advice, go find the positive advice or reach out to me and I'll help see if that's a great option for you, because I really don't like hearing people say like, don't get this kind of traffic, don't do this, don't do this. If enough people are saying that. Back to my other point. Like there's room for you to potentially excel there.
Speaker 2I think that fear-based marketing is not a tactic that I ever suggest with my clients and they're really not the type of products that I wanna work with. Positive marketing, positive messaging, educational style content for physical product brands it's gonna get you so much farther than nacing negativity. So if you're in a circle that's promoting fear-based scarcity, blah, blah, blah, like over and over again, get out of there and jump into positive. Like what value can you have for physical product business owners? I think that if you feel like your product just makes people happy, i think that is fully valid and fully marketable and an amazing reason to have a business.
Speaker 2I think that people are like well, i'm not like this business that changes lives or is fixing pollution, like the dopamine rush and the experience of getting your products and all of those are valid reasons to have a business that makes people happy. I think that the social media game and the ads game and the email marketing can be kind of tough And if you feel like you have to do it all at one time, perfectly amazingly consistently, i think that you can kind of step back and say this is working, now I feel good about it. Now this is working and I feel good about it a little bit less of this and kind of like dial in as you go and don't feel like everything has to be full blast at all times to get results.
Speaker 1I love that. So basically you're saying trust your gut, trust your gut.
Speaker 2I think so yeah, and I need to hear that for myself too. Like trust your gut, stop asking for like is this good enough? Is this good enough? If you're that concerned about it, it's probably because you've done so much research that you actually know what you're doing. Yeah.
