I think sometimes, when it comes to business, we think that this has to be done this way, or this has to be done the way my mentor does it, or this has to be done the way that I was taught. And I feel like, even in my own business because I was in containers for such a long time and I don't typically leave containers that we just feel like we're pushed into one way or the other, and not that anybody ever made me feel that way, but I think we just don't open ourselves up to explore what other people are doing, so we don't know what is possible, and I've found this when it comes to visibility too. So I have an inner circle member who has, quite honestly built two different businesses and although she is visible, and she's not visible like me and I think that we get to acknowledge that it doesn't have even people that work with me like I'm giving you a framework and I'm giving you tools and I'm giving you strategies and I'm giving you all these things, but you don't have to do it exactly like I do. You don't have to take them and apply them in the same platforms that I'm applying them to, like you truly get to choose what feels really good for you and works good for your brain. And so this inner circle member we have she has literally built two businesses with Google my Business and it's a. You know, if you've never used Google my Business, you can literally post on Google my Business like you do Facebook. And if you're saying, well, if it's just a local business, yes, it is great for local businesses, but it's also great for online businesses, and some people don't take advantage of that because they are like, oh my gosh, I have to put my address on there. Nope, you don't, they will hide your address like it's such a great tool and also helps with your SEO and things like that, but it is a form of visibility and it does help with search search ability, right, and so search ability is also a form of visibility, and so we get to take advantage of the ways that we want to build our business. That felt really good to us.
Speaker 1I had a past inner circle member who, even before she joined my inner circle, was already at like 40k months and she built up to 40k months by podcasting and being a guest for other people, never had done a video on social media, at least not consistently, and she came in to my program already extremely successful and she knew that video was the thing that she got to work on and it was interesting because obviously, you know, it's like it's like that disclaimer I cannot promise these results for everyone, but she did a challenge with me and she got on video. She did a Facebook live and somebody literally paid in full for her program and said that video pulled me in and that's why I said yes, and so she knew that return on that video was right there and she said and it was enough to like cover everything that I paid for your program. Now, that's a great testimonial. Again, this doesn't happen to everyone, but she had already had a very established business and then decided to add a different layer of look, of visibility to that and it worked very well for her. So just because somebody says you have to do this, you have to do that, you actually don't. You get to build a business the way that you want. Now, are there processes, are there strategies? Are there things that people have tried before and they can tell you yeah, it didn't work for me, but if I got to, went back and did it again, I would do it this way because it would probably be more successful, like hire those people, get those mentors.
Speaker 1I believe in visibility wholeheartedly, but I also believe every single one of my clients it gets look different for them. It gets look for them what works for them. And so visibility for everyone else doesn't mean to live videos every day. It doesn't mean you have to be on every single platform. It doesn't mean any of those things. It means that you get to show up to be seen and heard. That can look different for everyone, and your offers also get the opportunity to have the spotlight, to be seen and heard, because if people don't know what you have to offer, they're not going to buy it. So that's my main definition of visibility, and how we create that and how we implement that and how we execute that can look different for all of us. So figure out what feels really good for you for visibility.
Speaker 1Now there is a difference between I hate video because I'm petrified of getting on video and not pushing myself because that's what I did. I hated video. I didn't want to be on video because I was scared of video and then, because I did it and I pushed myself, I actually realized I really liked it. It was actually the best format for me to put myself out there and talk to my audience and it almost like gives me this, like I get this instant dopamine hit when I'm on video. And so again trying it, because you've tried it and you've never liked it, or because you're afraid or it's never worked for you and you need to figure out what that switch is. That's totally different. So what is it going to be? What is your visibility path look like? How are you going to be seen in her and by your audience? And also, how are your offers going to be put in the spotlight so they know what it is that you have to offer?
