Evolution of Visibility and Personal Growth

There is such an evolution when it comes to visibility . I look back at , you know , when I first started getting on video . My first video showing how to make Jell-O shots was what ? 2017 , 2016 . And then I really started getting consistent towards the end of 2018 . And my whole purpose with getting visible was obviously to build my business , but it was just like just to do it , like I just I need to go live , because , right , that was the main thing back then I just need to go live , I need to show up and boom , I'm done . Oh , and I want everybody to like me . Let's not forget that magical word I want everyone to like me on social media . And so that was really the first hurdle , and I don't think there's anything wrong with that when we choose to get visible , like if you were petrified , a video like I was , if you're an introvert , if you don't want to be the center of attention , if you were worried about what people think , like , getting on video is a huge feat , is a huge thing . To get out of your comfort zone and just get on video , you can't think about the rest of the things that happen to go with that . But once you get better and you get comfortable on video , then we've got to start thinking about other things , and not even video , but just getting visible in general , right . So first I had to get really visible and I got to show up in multiple , multiple different ways . For me it was video , live video back in the day , because there wasn't stories that disappeared in 24 hours and there wasn't reels and TikToks that you could do faceless . So there's like it was me on camera messing up . However , whatever books falling off my shelf , my dog's barking there was no imperfection to it at all , but anyhow , I got visible right . And then I got to start talking about my expertise . What am I an expert at ? What do I do ? Right , and I really got to get that part my authority , my expertise visible , and that really happened pretty much all of 2019 . I was really positioning myself constantly about what I do , what I'm good at , what I'm an expert at , and it's like , okay , that's great . Now my clients are starting to get results , right . So obviously I've been in social media for a while , so my done for you clients got lots of results . But I'm talking about my , like anybody that was in my programs back then right , I got to start talking about them and their results and what they were seeing and what they were doing . And also , with that being said , it's also creating raving fans who actually get visible for you , right ? So it goes to full . Yes , I'm getting visible and I'm shouting out my clients and talking about the things that they're doing , but also my clients are also getting visible and shouting me out because of the results that they've gotten right , which we can't really always control . That they do that . But that is a huge aspect to visibility . It's a huge support to your visibility when somebody else is saying it and selling you for you . Like that's huge .

So the next thing is I realized my content was crap . Like I realized that my whole content strategy was built on so-so content , like a lot of knowledge , right , a lot of expertise , but I was not in my content , me , I was not in my content . Yes , me , the teacher was in my content , but me the relatability part was not in my content . And also I didn't want to rock the boat , I didn't want to upset anybody , I wanted everybody to like me and I would have not been able to handle it back in the day when I first got on video if somebody would have unfollowed me because they didn't like something I said , like I could not have handled it . Now it is my goal . That's the truth . Like , I look at my analytics and I'm like , if I upset , like if I got like five to 10 people to unfollow me or hide me for 30 days , like this month , then I've actually activated my audience enough , cause , when you activate some people , you're going to trigger other people and that's okay , right . But I didn't want social content , because social content is not memorable . It's not memorable .

And so I got to like , improve upon my content and really get more potent in the things that I said , and not being a people pleaser in my content and not being apologetic in my content , right . And you know , the way I used to create content is I want to include everybody , or I wanted to make sure , like , if you're not doing this , it's okay , right . And not that I'm not doing that now , but I was so worried Right Now I create content from the heart and if I forget to say , hey , if you're not doing this , that's okay , you can learn . Like I , I'm just going to assume that my audience knows this . I'm going to assume that they know this , because I put my content out from the heart and that's why I believe that I should have been doing it the whole time , versus intellectually and don't not like me because I would die . And now I don't care , just doesn't matter anymore because I am not for everybody , and that was a very hard thing for me to acknowledge too . Okay , so my messaging very strategic got very visible . Right , I created a strategy that I still use to this day .

My mindset got visible . I started really bringing the mindset into my conversations and my teachings and actually talked to a friend the other day . She goes how do you I have a client trying to sell this mindset Like , how do you sell mindset ? And I was like you don't you add it in and doses everywhere ? You absolutely can . Yes , you can sell mindset , but I don't sell mindset , I sell the tactical . It's just I sneak in the mindset because there's no way the tactical is gonna always work without the mindset shifts , just the way it is .

So I started adding that and that got really visible in my content and then my vulnerability started getting more visible . I started realizing the more I can get real raw and honest with my audience about the failures , about the times I almost quit about the times that I face-planted , the setbacks , the times that I made a mistake . The thing that I love to say now is I used to say I used to say this the only way you can build a business is to get on my video . Well , when I was saying that there was no , like I said , stories , there was no short form video . So of course that's what I said . I couldn't have fathomed back then that that would have like , I think musically was around then , but I had no idea TikTok was going to be a thing and take off . So I ate my words . I was vulnerable . I said it's not the only way you can build your business . Actually , you can even build your business without video . It just is a lot slower process .

So my vulnerability got visible and then I started really talking about my wins , my proud moments , and I stopped hiding and worrying about if that was bragging . I really started sharing the wins because I had already gotten vulnerable and shared all those failures . So now it's time to share the things I've done , the things I've been really good at , the things that you're told not to talk about when you're younger and in your family they're like don't talk about money , don't talk about this , which is all given us so many money blocks , it's not even funny . So I talk about money , not as much as I used to , but I do weave money into my conversations as well , because I think it's important to know . And then my offers started getting visible . And before my offers really got visible , I was afraid of being too selzy . And so , again , something else I had to work on . I had to work on that fear , I had to work on that confidence , and once I did that , my offers were able to get visible . And then my frameworks got visible , and then my transformations got even more visible , especially when I learned that my human design was a .

I'm a 3.5 generator , 3.5 lines . We actually learn the best by failure , and so we actually fail more than most people . So , yeah , so that was fun to learn , and at first it was very negative to me . And then I owned it and I'm like , okay , so what ? I fell , and then I do it again , and then I do something again , and then I learned , and then I teach , because my five line is the leader and I can teach very , very well . So that empowered me to like stop worrying about your three line and all the failures . Everybody fails , it's just I felt a little bit more . But you know what ? I'm not afraid of failure . It doesn't scare me , which is why I can move super fast and not worry about is this gonna ? Is this gonna like be a complete disaster ? Because it doesn't matter if it is , I'll make lemonade out of the lemons , so to speak . Right , I always find a way to make something out of it .

So my leadership then started getting really visible and me showing up as a leader , me talking to people as they are also leaders , right , like I really learned in my communication to talk to my person like they get it , and I think that was huge . Like I talked to my people like they get it . Not everybody may get it , but my people will get it , and that's that's again , I'm not for everyone . Everyone is not for me . The same is true with you and your business . And once you can realize that and acknowledge that it's so freeing , it's actually really . It really is freeing . It's freedom .

And then my launches got super visible . Like what are we at 20 ? Are we like 24 launches in 22 months ? Right now ? Like yeah , my launches got insanely visible and which meant my offers got more visible , which meant my selling every single day also got visible , and again , this was a whole evolution . We're talking back really since 2016 , but when I really started focusing on it was 2018 , and we're in what ? 2023 now , so we're going on five years of visibility . Obviously , you could do this faster , and that's what I wanna help you do , but it's really taking me through the pain and the process and , oh , I need to do this too and oh , I need to add this too , but my launches , my offers , got extremely visible In the last . What did I say ? 22 months . I think it's actually been 20 months , something like that .

I'm not doing the math right now , but then my personal power got visible , because you can't launch that much and have as many failed launches without holding and standing in your personal power , and that has probably been the biggest growth journey for me is just not needing validation and not needing people to be on my lives . But I appreciate you . I appreciate that you are Not needing people to watch my videos , like not needing that validation and proof , like being my own evidence , and that was really , really huge for me and my business , and it's one of the things that I always talk to my clients about , because it's the thing that holds us back . I sold so many offers I sell a ton of offers now that before I would have never put them out into the public , because my ego would have said if you don't sell those , everybody is gonna know . And now I don't care , the right person will buy it or the right person will buy it later . That's just all that matters . That doesn't matter to me that it doesn't sell right now .

I put out my Hawaii offer . First of all , not everybody's willing to go to Hawaii . I mean , go one time and then you're gonna wanna go back every chance you get . And so I was telling this I think it was in the cash injection masterclass . I was talking about putting the Hawaii offer out . I was like I knew there was a huge chance that nobody would take that , but I was going to Hawaii anyhow , so it didn't really matter what else happened , right , and so really just standing in my personal power .

And then the thing is is that all of that visibility actually helped my people pleasing ? It ? Helped my caring of what everybody else thinks become really invisible ? Because to some degree there is some . I mean to some degree . I don't know if we ever get rid of that completely , but it's definitely pretty much non-existent compared to how it used to be , and that's freedom . That's freedom . And , honestly , every level of visibility I've gotten , I've created more freedom in my business , whether it was time freedom or financial freedom or location freedom , and I believe that adding all these facets and figuring out how to become visible in all of these facets of your business is truly what creates an iconic brand . And yes , I'm totally .

We have a program coming up called Iconic and I'm super excited . It was going to be a masterclass and then it's just evolved and it hasn't stopped evolving . And then my daughter's friend called me iconic and then it just like I couldn't let go of it this is what I do , by the way . I couldn't let go of it and I kept thinking about it and I was like this is the program , like I was gonna add this to raving fans . But I don't like just throwing a bunch of stuff together in a program when it can be separated out and make so much more sense and we can go micro mastery level versus overview , and I hope everybody likes that , because I want everybody to master a subject and master a topic , and I believe that showing up on video is one form of visibility , but there's so many more deep dives that we can do to get your entire brand visible , to get your entire brand seen and heard and desired by your audience . And so , yeah , I want your brand to be iconic and that is gonna be an amazing feeling for so many people to go through this process and create this for their own business .

And so I created what I wish I would have had , and so this also is my journey of getting visible and teaching you all these parts of your business and how to get them visible , how to bring them to light , how to get clarity on them so that you can show up with an iconic brand , because we all get to do that . We don't have to be world icons , we just have to be icons for our world , the people that we're trying to attract , the people that we wanna work with , the people that we know we can serve and support and help them have transformations .
