Reflecting on Successful Third Quarter
Speaker 1Today I want to take this Monday Minute episode and I really want to reflect back on the last quarter. We are starting the fourth quarter and I really want to reflect on the things that I think made the third quarter for me as successful as they were. I had my highest month for 2023 inside of the third quarter, and so I think it's really important to know why do I feel like this happened the way that it did? I will say that I am a huge believer and you may have heard me say this before, but it's worth repeating a million times I'm a huge believer that the effort that we put in in a 90-day period, we will really see and reap the rewards after that. I set my third quarter up for success because my second quarter was pretty much fire. The two things that happened in both of these quarters that I think really propelled myself and my business was that I had two challenges. In the month of May, I had a challenge week, which was a free challenge that I ran. There was so much momentum created during this, which was basically the preface for the momentum eight-week mastermind that I held. I think this really set me up for success because this week, maxout Media Challenge really created the snowball effect for the momentum eight-week program, which then fed into July, which was our.
Speaker 1We always do hundreds of lives or changing lives. In July this year we caught up the Just One Thing live challenge and every day there was a lesson and every day there were up to five challenges you could accept or decline. Although I think a lot of people in my world probably thought I was insane, probably thought it was too much, probably thought it was overwhelm, yeah, I did it anyhow. Here's the thing and I'm a big believer in this and I want you to take this too I don't expect everyone to do everything. Some people blew my freaking mind and did it, but that wasn't the purpose, right? That wasn't the purpose for you to be someone to be in my eight-week mastermind or my inner circle and OmniVap and doing all the programs and doing all the challenges. Not everyone can handle that and not everyone should try to handle that. But I was trying to offer something for everyone and during the month of July I also gave 10% of my proceeds back to a non-profit. I had two micro offers.
Speaker 1That happened in the month of July, along with the month long challenge. I was selling every single day, and I do believe July was my highest month. It was insane. I went to Palm Springs for a week. It was insane, but as insane as it was, I lived my freaking life. I had a blast. It was insane, don't get me wrong, but I had a freaking blast.
Speaker 1This is not something I could sustain every single month. I totally get that and I would again never expect anybody else to try to do the same thing. However, for me it worked. It worked, and could I do this once a quarter? Absolutely, absolutely. And so the momentum that I created in May, which propelled June, which led into July, which was the first month of quarter three, and then the whole month of July was a 31-day challenge, right along with two micro offers, because we had insta-story strategy, we had real estate convert.
Speaker 1We came off of June, which had activation program, and we finished up the momentum mastermind in July, and then we went right into August, which really was about the iconic brand that just came to me, not in a dream, but it did come to me, like in a non-traditional way, and now we're in raving fan season, and so I had this download and I asked my inner circle yesterday. I was like I'm going to do this challenge. You guys want to do it with me. There's zero pressure, but if you want to, I'm going to do it. And in the past, when I have done challenges for myself, there was 100 lives in July of 2020. There was 200 lives in July of 2021.
Speaker 1I always make these rules and I always make it so much more difficult than it has to be. Here's the deal. There's no rules. I'm making 100 videos, but by the time I repurpose them, I'm making 100 videos. Okay, I'm making 100 videos, I am making 100 videos. I'm personally probably not going to count repurposing them, but when we have a challenge, do what works best for you. I mean, I would love that by the time I count repurposing that, I'm at like 400 to 500 videos. Like that would blow my freaking mind.
Speaker 1And so I'm super excited about the month of October. It is my birthday month, it is the start of the fourth quarter. I am doing a 100 video challenge for myself. We have raving fans kicking off. I'm bonusing my Omni VIP a whole month of group telegram so that I can audit and help them with their content, and it's just going to be insane. I also will be in Destin for a week with a retreat, so there's going to be a lot of things going on.
Speaker 1I work better when things are happening. I work better when I'm living my life. I work better when there are KPIs key performance indicators, in case anybody doesn't know when I have goals set for myself, not necessarily monetarily goals, but action goals, actionable, consistent action goals. This is over a five-minute Monday-minute, but I just feel like I need to reflect and recap. And this, I believe, is the main reason why the third quarter was my best quarter, why the highest month of 2023 was in the third quarter.
Speaker 1And, as business owners, it's really easy to get stagnant. It's really easy to get into this comfort zone that we love, even if we're pushing ourselves. And I had to have this come to Jesus moment with myself in September and I said, oh well, wait a minute, you're comfortable. And For somebody that pushes themselves all the time, that's not easy to say to myself. But what happens is I can push myself all the time, but then I get comfortable again and I realize, oh, wait a minute, I'm living the easy life Not really, but I'm living the easy path right, the easy actions, the easy to-do lists, which create lackluster results.
Speaker 1September was a great month, don't get me wrong, but it could have been so much better, and so I know that this is the challenge for me, along with my certification and the 35-6 hours that I got to do every single month. I know it's going to be a lot and I know I'll be selling birthday offers and creating cash injections, but I just feel it in my soul that this is the right thing to do. And, if you guys know, I've talked about human design. I'm a generator and it is a heck yes or a heck no, and everything I just said is a full body yes, and I know I'm in for this, and I think October is going to be a wild ride and I'm ready. I think fourth quarter is going to be a wild ride, and I'm ready.
Speaker 1The question is what are you going to do differently in quarter four to set yourself up for success? Look at quarter three what went well and what can you use that as a model to build on for quarter four? I figured mine out already. You get to look back and reflect on yours and figure out what is going to work for you. If you ever need support with this, reach out to me. I am here, I would love to support you and this is a Monday 10-ish minute one now but I am totally here to support you and want you to have the best fourth quarter ever. But we got to make that decision, we got to reflect, we got to review and we get to see where do I want to go and what do I get to do differently and what do I get to do more of and what do I get to stop doing to get there.
