Ever felt like you're drowning under pressure but still manage to come through, thriving? That's pretty much been my recent life story. Striving to meet a certification deadline, creating hundreds of videos, engaging in one-on-one calls, and juggling strategy sessions, I've been pushing the boundaries of my capabilities. However, I've also learned some valuable lessons about the importance of balance, self-care, and recalibration.
OMNI is my full visibility system built for CEOs who want to grow online without living on their phone. If you’re ready to be truly seen, more strategic, and unmistakably in demand, head to check out OMNI at www.omniqueens.com

Today's podcast episode is brought to you from my tub. It's been a full week it has been. It's like balls to the wall over here to get all my certification materials in by Monday. So pretty much my weekend is going to be all focusing on getting all these deliverables created and turned in, because that is 100% my priority. I think it's interesting that some of us work so much better under pressure than others, and you've probably heard me talk about human design on here before, but actually it's really funny because my human design says I work better under pressure and I'm like, okay, yay, do I want to do this all the time? 100% no, I do not, but it's been really important to me.
Speaker 1I, back in October, I did. I challenged myself to do 100 videos and then, right as soon as we got into November, I started taking additional one on one calls with my, with my inner circle members. I already had one, two, three, four, five hours a week of peer and case study client calls and I added this on top of it. Plus, I was running raving fans any raving fans. I was running this old out AF framework recording the content creation machine videos, training videos, and it was just a lot and I think I realized I wasn't showing. I'm showing up with tight in photos, which I got a lot of photos this month, so that's good, but I wasn't showing up as much as I would like to be and I I don't want to should. But, like video is my life. I love being on video, but it's just. I've been exhausted and here's what I know Back in 2016, 2017, when I was doing a lot of strategy calls I did done for you services, for clients, but I also did strategy calls.
Speaker 1So if you wanted to build your social media, your marketing, we'd hop on a call. And I got to the point that some days I was doing like four strategy calls and I realized I was way better if I could cap it to two a day and that gave me so much. I don't want to say relief, but my brain power, like strategy, is a lot of brain power. It's a lot of figuring things out. It's a lot of looking at the holes in someone's business and the missing puzzle pieces and making sure they all fit together and they're all working congerly together, and so it was a lot of brain power. And so one of the things that I did do when I took on, along with the case study clients, along with the peer clients, for anybody scheduled to call with me, I made sure there was no more than two a day. Matter of fact, I think the first sets I did were one a day. And then I was like, oh, I need to open this up because I need more spots. I need, like I want to get them all in before the end of the year.
Speaker 1And so I've been on the screen a lot, and I don't know if you've ever noticed this, but sometimes, when you are watching your phone a lot or when you're at your computer a lot, and obviously I'm sitting down way more than I normally do, because I'm normally not in my desk this much, go, live your life, friends. This is just for a season. Just, it's a sprint. We're in a sprint mode right now. It's about over, thank goodness, but it's exhausting. It's really exhausting, and it's in the screen and the blue light and even I think, if you have blue light glasses and it's still exhausting on your eyes, it makes you exhausted and tired. And so I realized like, okay, this is part of my problem, this is part of the reason I'm not getting on video. And I'm like, okay, this can be your excuse right now, chrissy, but it cannot be your excuse after Monday. After Monday, okay, maybe you take a day rest, but after that it's back to being showtime, right, it's back to showing up the way that you were. It's back to doing what you know works, going back to basics, and I think, give yourself grace that there are seasons, because obviously the month of November, and even so far in December, has just been a lot.
Speaker 1But I know that I have a goal, right. I know I have a goal date. I know I have a date to have all of this done and I'm going to make it happen. Even if I don't get enough sleep, Even if I have to sit at my desk a little bit longer than I would like, I'm going to get it done because it is a priority to me. It is a priority to have it done by the 18th of December, because if anything is not right or anything needs like edited or added or whatever, they'll let me know. If I wait till January I think 12th is my second If I turn it in, then it's either right or wrong, and if it's wrong I don't get a chance to update it and then I wouldn't graduate until the summer, so it's a huge priority for me to get it done by the 18th. So that's my goal. That's why I'm pushing so hard, and also, I love challenging myself, and I know this podcast is all over the place, but I think it's just acknowledging.
Speaker 1Sometimes we want to like ugh, I'm not showing up on video. What's wrong with me? Like what's wrong with me, which I did say that and then I was like analyzing it. Okay, this is exactly why you're not showing up on video. You're just tired. You're tired. You're putting a lot on yourself right now, along with running programs, running my inner circle, doing client messages every day in Telegram, supporting people who aren't sure if they want to be in my programs or not.
Speaker 1Oh yeah, and then I did two 24-hour free coaching. I would coach on one thing in Messenger. I decided to throw that in too, because I didn't have the capacity to do a master class. I was like, oh, this is a great strategy to do this. Yeah, let me take a deep breath for a second.
Speaker 1Anyhow, what I am saying is give yourself grace when you're not showing up the way you want to or you think you should, and also make things work for you. I come alive on video. I know this about myself. It's just right now I don't have the capacity, and I'm also okay with myself. I'm still making sales. I'm still attracting new people.
Speaker 1Would I attract more with video? Most likely, yes. Do I have a lot of behind the scenes I could be utilizing and editing right now? Uh-huh, yes, I do so. I get to work on that until I submit all these things, but I think it's just important again to give yourself grace. Also, I had another deadline. I wanted to create this book that is part of the content creation machine and I was like I'm going to do it.
Speaker 1A couple of weeks ago Things did not happen and so I did it over the past couple of days. 12 hours of my life went into that. But again, that's okay. I know I'm still going to get everything done. I work better under pressure. If you don't, don't do that to yourself, but if you do, don't do it to yourself all the time. So I hope you found some gold in this episode, as I'm literally relaxing in the tub, telling you all the things, giving you all the updates, and I hope that you're taking time for yourself this weekend and really enjoying yourself and planning some personal self-care. That's very, very important too, and I do have my lone mornings with all my meditation, because that's what's important to me. I'm doing some self-care not as much as I'd like, but it still works for me.
