Every single day you get to wake up with a power that most people forget that they have. The power to decide, the power of choice, not just what coffee to drink or what tasks to check off, but who am I deciding to be today? Here's the truth. Life is always going to be pulling you. There's notifications, there's responsibilities. Yes, there is to-do lists. other people, people's moods, it's easy to slip into autopilot and let the day basically run you, right? Like the quote, if you don't run the day, it's going to run you. And that's true. That's what happens. But when it comes to your next level, when it comes to your visibility, when it comes to your growth, when it comes to your leadership, those things don't happen by accident. They happen by taking and making the decision and the next choice. Are you choosing comfort or courage? Are you deciding to be visible today even if it feels uncomfortable? Are you going to decide to respond in your power or shrink back? Your results aren't built in one big leap. They're built in these micro decisions that you make even before the world gets a chance to tell you who you should be. I said this on the Comeback Masterclass like Making these micro commitments, making these micro comebacks to yourself, right? Those are decisions that you get to make every single day. Like, am I going to hit the snooze button or am I going to get up? Am I going to complain about the weather or am I going to find the silver lining? All of those feed into who you show up as that day. The best part is it's not about being perfect. Some days it's the decision to simply choose. I choose to show up for myself. Other days it's going to be bigger. I choose to lead. Even when it feels like I don't have everything figured out. The common thread is you get to decide. That choice that you make creates your momentum. As you step into today, whatever day of the week that you're listening to this, Remember, you don't wait for circumstances to decide for you. Don't wait for permission. Decide who you are and how you'll show up accordingly. Repeat this. I decide presence. I decide courage. I decide momentum. Because the woman you're becoming is built by the decisions you make today. Who you are a year from now starts with those deciding factors that you say yes and even no to as you go through every day.
