Taxcast With Chelsea

EPISODE 1. Operation Hidden Treasure. Reality TV couple awaiting sentencing for tax crimes. IRS Appeals office updates.

Chelsea Harper Season 2022 Episode 1

Today I’m going to discuss:

Operation Hidden Treasure – this is not your Johnny Depp tax sequel but rather the IRS is searching for those digital and cryptocurrency tax evaders (1:02).

Also, a reality check hits reality TV stars & their CPA – I’m talking about Todd & Julie Chrisley and their CPA who were found guilty of tax crimes. We’ll discuss the tax crimes they were convicted of and how you can avoid the same fate (3:46).

Lastly, the IRS appeals office has listed its 2023 objectives for a better taxpayer experience. Although you might not find IRS appeals riveting, it is important to know as a taxpayer what this office can do for you in case you’re ever in need (7:06).
