Knock Knock, Me Again
As a child, Tanna made people laugh, but adulthood has rendered her anxious and afraid to be funny. Knock Knock, Me Again follows Tanna, a woman in her 30s, on an anxiety-inducing, but heart-warming experiment: to discover whether she can learn to be a stand-up comedian. She travels to people's living rooms, sits them down upon their sofa, and performs comedy at them: an excruciating encounter for both parties. She and her guest then discuss the experience over a cup of tea: what went well, what went badly, and most crucially, why. They discuss topics such as context, environment, zeitgeist, subjectivity, comic timing, and lots more. Tanna's journey is a rich piece of social, psychological and philosophical research, addressing questions about mental health and human interaction.

Episode 1
In this episode, I attempt a comedy set directly to the podcast microphone, with no guest, in attempt to research the difference.
I perform 3 very rough draft sketches (the hip specialist, the dirt bike, global warming) and add 3 arbitrary thoughts.
I invite listeners to complete a simple questionnaire to help me measure how I'm doing. Click here to complete and thank you warmly.
