About Sh. Abdullah Oduro

Sh. Abdullah Oduro, a first-generation Ghanaian native, underwent a significant life transformation when he embraced Islam in 1997. His dedication to Islamic studies led him to graduate from the University of AlMadinah's College of Islamic Law in 2007. Today, Abdullah actively engages with audiences across the United States through public speeches, sermons, lectures, and workshops, focusing on topics such as Islamic Law, personal development, and the experiences of converts.

Currently serving as the Imam at the Islamic Center of Coppell and Lewisville in Dallas, Texas, Abdullah resides in the same city with his wife and four children. Recently, he joined the esteemed Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research as a Scholar, where he leads a team dedicated to providing comprehensive resources and specialized care for new Muslim converts and their integration into institutional settings. Abdullah's expertise and commitment make him a valuable asset in supporting and guiding individuals on their journey as new Muslims.
