Hey, beautiful souls, by popular request, we are adding something new to spirit speakeasy, to the pod. Every Friday, I am going to be releasing the weekly readings on the podcast. That is what you have been overwhelmingly asking for. Thank you so much to those of you that had answered all the email surveys. I really do read every one of those and all of the email responses. So by popular request, every Friday, we will have a special edition of the podcast. It'll be just a short reading, doing the energy potentials checking for the week ahead. And for those of you that want to listen, I will be trying to describe each of the cards, just so you can get a sense of any important features in the cards. And if you want to see the video version that does exist on my YouTube channel, Joy Giovanni, psychic medium, or you can also find it on my website, joyful medium.com in the blog section. So let's get right into this week's weekly reading, energy and potentials. Check for April 17 through 24th I'm so excited to dive right in with these cards. The first card that we have, actually a few of these cards are what we call Major Arcana, meaning more overarching across the themes of our life, whereas the Minor Arcana are the day to day cards, those are the numbered cards. So this first card we're going to be looking at. Here is the Hanged one. Now some of you ask what deck I use. I am not sponsored by this deck. It is just my current favorite for some time now. It is called the modern witch tarot deck. It is very closely based on the traditional rider weight tarot deck, with the symbology placement of images. It just has some more updated gender roles, and it is more inclusive with the figures in the cards. So that is why I love it. So this first card is The Hanged one. Now this card really has to do with making sure that we are not having tunnel vision and only looking from one perspective at whatever situations are arising in our own lives and families, but also as it relates to the collective to what is happening in our world this week. So whatever is popping up this week, the invitation here is to make sure that you're looking for multiple perspectives. How is it going to affect you? How is it going to affect things in an overarching way, just lots of different angles to be considered with whatever is showing up, and also for you personally, with whatever decisions you're looking at making this week. But the general energy with this next card combined is the hermit, which is also a major arcana card. So really thinking about our life choices right now, really reevaluating the path that we're on. These two cards together indicate, hey, pause. Go within. Go to your safe sacred place, right? Perhaps you're spending some more time in meditation or contemplation. This card can also indicate seeking a wise, neutral mentor that you can trust, and being willing to see from many different perspectives. Whatever this energy is that is showing up this week now, it doesn't necessarily have a negative connotation. So before you get nervous, we don't do fear mongering here. This really can be just anything that's showing up. Maybe it's something that feels more tragic in our world as a whole. Maybe it's something that is globally concerning to a lot of us, just really going within, which means not getting sucked into a media frenzy, or to whatever chaos might be ensuing. But also, if you're not getting any information, for example, this could be something that suddenly the powers that be are wanting to be very tight lipped on In contrast, right? So, not getting sucked into that piece of it, going within for our information and for our truth barometer and being willing to look for many different perspectives with this wise mentor, indication too, with this hermit, I just want to drop in here make sure that with whatever you're considering this week, we're not surveying everyone that we know and love and have ever met. We are only asking very specific people for their guidance and input right now. So just make sure you're considering your sources just across the board. Now these next two cards are more in our day to day world, we've got this seven of cups, which is a wonderful card in the picture. There are seven cups literally upright, and each cup has a different symbol inside, and there is a female figure who is looking at all these cups floating in the clouds. And really, sevens are about choices. Often when we see them pop up like this. So it does seem like there are going to be many different choices, many different options, many different versions for us to con. Sitter in this week ahead in the energy with the seven of cups, part of the indication with choice is really just feeling into your own emotions. Now, if you're doing your personal development and working on yourself, hopefully you're able to get to a more neutral space, rather than choosing your choices from a place of upset or from a place of fear. So that's part of the guidance here. But on the other side of this guidance is this six of pentacles, which this card. There are six Pentacles right on the card, and there's a person holding a couple gifts, looking like she's going to be giving them out. This card really indicates that there are gifts available. Perhaps you're the giver, perhaps you're the receiver, or often there can be an exchange. But remember, pinnacles gifts doesn't always have to be money, like tangible money. It could be time, it could be wisdom. It could be a new opportunity that's going to present itself or open up in an unexpected way, perhaps through a friend or through a colleague or someone that you're loosely connected to, friend of a friend, maybe even so as you're making these choices and remembering about this hanged one, and considering from many perspectives and really looking for the and then or and also options with everything, just know that there's potential for some of these choices to have hidden gifts, and maybe even not so hidden gifts, maybe you're aware what a certain connection could potentially do for you, or a way that you already want to collaborate with someone that's all on the menu for choosing this week, even if it doesn't appear like It's on the menu, it is and you can go within and see if you can see the different perspectives, for example, to move that forward. Now, this final card of this week's energy check is the Lover's card. This is also a major arcana card. This card is often misunderstood, while it can mean soul mates. Part of what I like to remind people is that soul mates come in lots of types of relationships in our life. Soul Mate does not mean necessarily, only romantic relationships. That's not true. But what I am so drawn to as one of the additional meanings with this card is travel. So just know, I know I've been talking about travel a lot in spirit, speakeasy in the pod, and I really feel like some travel opportunities are going to be coming up for others as well. And just checking in with yourself, are you someone that gets really lit up by travel, or are you someone that has a lot of anxiety around travel, or maybe a little bit of both. And just remembering that Archangel Raphael is the Archangel of this card, specifically, also of travel, also of relationships, also of Soulmate bonds, right? So maybe this could be you reconnecting or connecting with someone who is a soulmate for you in this lifetime, I have soulmates in several of the relationships in my life. I'm always saying that my best friend is one of my soulmates in this life. So perhaps for you, this is some adventure, some deep connection, heart to heart that doesn't have to be romantic again, but really leaning on Archangel Raphael this week, especially, I will say as a little side note, for those of you that do get anxious with traveling, I sometimes can get a little anxious during takeoff and landing of flights and things, and I am always calling in Archangel Raphael's energy. I'm asking him to kind of surround the aircraft with his beautiful, brilliant green light, to kind of keep us tethered in a way that's safe, to kind of usher the plane. You could do it for any sort of transportation, train or boat or whatever you got. So if you're someone that leans a little anxious at times, don't be afraid to call him in ask for his comfort and support. And also, if you are trying to either mend fences or work on new relationships, new connections that you're bringing in, Archangel Raphael is wonderful for that. So really, it seems like this week we have the potential for adventure, potential for surprise gifts and abundance and collaboration, but also this acknowledgement of not asking everyone's opinion and taking everyone's opinion, really trusting those wise mentors that we already know, that we can trust, probably, but you have your own wisdom and information, you just sometimes have to go in to get it and spend some time alone or in contemplation, in your personal spiritual practices, and being willing to see from lots of perspectives this week. So sometimes this can also indicate a little bit of negotiation. But as part of all of this choice, I just want to also say, don't be afraid to ask for what you want. And perhaps in some of these negotiations, maybe part of these choices, there's some negotiation happening. And you asking for some off menu options, so to speak, don't be afraid to say, here's what I'd actually like and here's what I see as a benefit for you if we go that direction, right? So as part of seeing different perspectives, don't be afraid to share your different perspective in places that it makes sense. It doesn't mean you've got to try to convert the masses, right? But it's okay to do it in your own choices and negotiations. So let me know what is showing up for you this week. I always love checking the energy ahead. It really helps me.
