As the week progresses, Sarah Fisher will guide us through the art of handling home conflicts using nonviolent resistance techniques. Speaker 1:

Welcome to the Send Parenting Podcast. I'm your neurodiverse host, dr Olivia Kessel, and, more importantly, I'm mother to my wonderfully neurodivergent daughter, alexandra, who really inspired this podcast. As a veteran in navigating the world of neurodiversity in a UK education system, I've uncovered a wealth of misinformation, alongside many answers and solutions that were never taught to me in medical school or in any of the parenting handbooks. Each week on this podcast, I will be bringing the experts to your ears to empower you on your parenting crusade. The countdown is officially on. In just a few days, we will be kicking off the 100th episode celebration of the SEND Parenting Podcast, a week-long event packed with inspiration, connection and support for parents of neurodiverse children. This milestone of 100 episodes is not just about the podcast. It's about celebrating you and the incredible SEND community that we have built together. Whether you've just begun your journey or you've been advocating for years, these events are designed to empower, inform and uplift you. So what can we look forward to? Well, engage in conversations. Our most loved podcast guests are returning to share what they've been working on with neurodiverse families Interactive questions and answers. So during the live event, we can ask questions live in the chat and connect with other parents who truly understand your journey, and you can also connect with me Practical insights. So I think all of us will walk away with actionable tips and strategies to hopefully make our lives a little bit smoother, a little bit easier. So to remind you of the schedule, we're going to start it on Monday, december 2nd, and we're going to have Dr Lucinda Miller, who's going to talk to us about nutrition and neurodiversity and share with us her recently released book, brain Brilliance. That's going to be in an evening session at 8 PM. Then on Tuesday we're going to have a lunchtime session at 12 and we're going to have Dr Chris Bagley, who's going to talk to us about how disengaged we have all become with education. He is super brilliant and I just love picking his brains on this because he knows so much. Then on Wednesday 4th, we're going to go back to an evening session at 8pm with Sarah Fisher and we're going to look at dealing with conflict at home using NVR, nonviolent resistance and anything from emotional to physical outburst. Sarah really knows how to deal with them in a really different and unique way. Then on Thursday, we're going to have another evening session with one of my favorite podcasters, dr Marianne, who has a podcast how Not to Screw Up your Kids and she's going to share some of the top tips and strategies from her show. And then, friday, we're going to have another lunchtime session at 12 o'clock with the Sunshine Support Group. We're going to have Krista Wadlow back on, who's been on the podcast before, and she's going to be joined with one of her associates, kelly Jarvis, and they are really going to give some really good strategies on how to navigate Send in Education as an organization. They provide a lot of free support and also support that you can purchase, but honestly, I wish I'd known about them years ago.
