Unpacking Sunday is back for a brand new season! This week, Luke and Mike catch up after a full summer and settle into the rhythm of fall. With our church launching a new series in the book of Acts—The Church on Mission—they unpack the introductory message and what it means for us today.

From the tension of trusting God’s timing (the “secret sauce”) to the reality that the Church itself was birthed out of a season of waiting for the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, they reflect on how waiting and mission go hand in hand. Along the way, they wrestle with an uncomfortable truth: maybe “comfort” was never part of God’s design for His Church.
