When we create the impact that our work has on the world around us, whether that means helping people in need or just creating a better environment for ourselves. We often overlook its value. We tend to see it as "just another thing" when in fact it's something much bigger than any other thing.


In this episode, Akil will share his backstory and the events that led him to where he is today. He will also discuss his major projects, which will be extremely helpful to everyone. In addition, he talks about how people are dying for reasons that seem somewhat preventable.


Akil Foluke is a scientist, educator, and radical change agent who uses his experiences and skills to improve the conditions for his people and the community. He is a Minnesota native who graduated from North Community High School in Minneapolis.


He has taken the time to really create something that is actually going to be beneficial to humanity because he understands that this is what we need right now.


Akil Foluke is a Minnesota native who graduated from North Community High School in Minneapolis. He is a classically-trained synthetic organic chemist; gaining his B.S. in Chemistry from Morehouse College. and his M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Alabama. As an educator, he has taught at Minneapolis area middle schools as a math and science teacher. He has also taught Organic Chemistry as Community Faculty in the College of Sciences at Metropolitan State University. He has professional experience in Pharmaceuticals as a Quality Assurance associate and maintains various entrepreneurial efforts outside of work. His latest effort is Mama’s Juju; a nutritional health and wellness business focused on wholistic products meant to increase the overall quality of life.
