About Latosha Cox:

Latosha Cox (she, her, hers) is a skilled facilitator, trainer, public speaker and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) practitioner who always leads with authenticity and vulnerability. She brings a wealth of knowledge and lived experiences from working in various capacities and roles in nonprofit (Northern Star Council/Boy Scouts of America, Public Allies Twin Cities & Pillsbury United Communities), philanthropy (McKnight Foundation), education (Anoka Hennepin School District) and finances (TCF Bank/ Huntington, Wells Fargo, Hiway Credit Union). Her previous role was in the non-profit sector as Public Allies Twin Cities Director of Learning and Leadership (national social justice, non-profit and leadership development organization). Latosha was the first and only African American co-chair of AAPIP’s Minnesota Chapter in over 31 plus years of existence. Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy (AAPIP), founded in 1990, is a national membership and philanthropic advocacy organization dedicated to expanding and mobilizing resources for Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities to build a more just and equitable society. She has been intentionally building relationships across cultures for decades and enjoys speaking Hmong at the local community farmers markets. Latosha recently started her coaching, consulting, public speaking and training business called Black Girl Sabbatical™️ after embarking on a 18-month healing and self-discovery journey of prioritizing her mental health and well-being and participating in experiences that brought her JOY! Latosha loves to support people and organizations holistic wellness, leadership development and DEI journeys so that we all can continue to do the work we have been called to do.
