Wayne Matthews Jr. (aka the Wave Captain) is a Musician/Producer from the great cultural city of New Orleans, La. He’s been fortunate enough to work with such names as Summer Walker, Pell, and Fatoumata Diawara to name a few. He attributes most of his sound to his social experiences in his Musician Community that led him to his move to Los Angeles, CA in 2018. In encountering music in metaphorical “Waves,” his appreciation of the connection of humanity and spirituality has led him to this exciting position as one of the co-hosts of the L.A. vs LA podcast. If you hear him say something out of pocket, don’t hold it to his heart. He was sheltered.
