Plum Creek Church: Message Audio
Changed lives, changing lives. At Plum Creek Church, these are more than just words on a wall. It’s why we’re here. It’s our mission to impact the valley of Castle Rock with the love of Jesus in tangible ways that lead others to know and follow him. At Plum Creek this mission is lived out in many different ways: From our weekend experience and live stream, our engaging kids and students' environments, and our connection-driven group settings; everything we do is pointed in the direction of life-change. How to break free from the loneliness trap /// Out of the Shadows: Part 6
We're so glad you've chosen to listen to our online experience! Here at Plum Creek, we’re all about changed lives, changing lives; and what that simply means is that what Christ has done in us is not just for us, but it’s for us to share with others in our community and around the world.

If you're using this teaching for a small group setting, we've included discussion prompts to help guide your conversation:
1. In Genesis 2:18, God says, “It is not good for the man to be alone.” How does this shape our understanding of community and connection?
2. Jesus experienced deep loneliness in Gethsemane (Matthew 26:38). What does his response teach us about handling loneliness?
3. The man with leprosy in Mark 1:40-42 was physically and socially isolated. What can we learn from the way Jesus responded to him?
4. Hebrews 10:24-25 urges believers not to neglect meeting together. How can we be more intentional in creating real, meaningful connections?
5. Doug challenged everyone to encourage three people each day for a week. How do small acts of encouragement impact both the giver and the receiver?
