1. What does abiding look like for you in real life, not in theory? Where specifically are you getting distracted or pulled away from staying close to Jesus?
2. Where do you sense God asking you to surrender something right now? What is the actual cost of holding on?
3. Look at John 13:34. How would it change your interactions this week if you took Jesus’ command to love as seriously as any moral or theological command?
4. Who is a real person in your life that would experience something different from you if you chose to love first rather than wait to be loved?
5. Jesus washed the feet of someone who would betray him. What is one act of service this week that would require humility from you rather than comfort?
