Ilana Graetz, an Associate Professor of Health Policy and Management at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, will be discussing health information technology. Dr. Graetz has worked with Kaiser Permanente to determine how the EHR system impacted quality and access to care. Her research spans multiple aspects of health information technology, including data analytics, the role of electronic health records in care quality and coordination, and the design of app-based interventions to improve patient-provider communication, treatment adherence, and outcomes.
