Dr. Tony Nguyen, the Chief Medical Officer of the Division of Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys (DHANES)  at the CDC, will be discussing the intersection between public health and medicine.   He is a subject matter expert (SME) clinical consultant for DHANES leadership and Science Advisor. He was also a brigade surgeon for the US Army and is currently a captain of the US Public Health Service. Dr. Nguyen was also a part of the 2014 Ebola response team in Sierra Leone. During this episode Dr. Nguyen dives into his journey of being a physician, his passion for public health, and how it has impacted his life.
