Dr James Lindsay is a writer, speaker, and podcast host. Along with Peter Boghossian and Helen Pluckrose, he undertook the famous grievance studies hoax, which arguably demonstrated the low academic standards of some university disciplines. James wrote Cynical Theories with Helen Pluckrose, which outlines the intellectual background to the ‘woke’ ideology which is sweeping through western institutions. In this episode, James explains to Luke why he thinks the ‘woke’ ideology is communism under a new guise.
