Developing An Entrepreneurial Mindset In Medicine- Dr BB Phetla (Doctorpreneur)
Mar 01, 2023 Episode 7
Danroe Oosthuizen

Todays guest is Dr. BB Phetla, the founder of Doctorpreneur, a platform that mentors doctors wanting to transition into private practice in healthcare. Dr Phetla has had over 13 years of private practice experience and completed a Masters in business administration (MBA) to solidify her natural inclination for entrepreneurship.

In this episode we dive deeper into what is required from any doctor before starting the venture into private practice. We also discuss key insights she's learnt on her journey and that adding value and finding what your skillset is are foundational components in determining what entrepreneurial advantages you may poses. Developing self confidence and finishing what you've started are elements anyone can develop and with that, becoming a "medical-entrepreneur" takes discipline and a drive for self growth and constant learning.

If you are interested in reaching out to Dr Phetla, you can email her at admin@doctorpreneur.co.za. You can also visit their website at https://doctorpreneur.co.za/ or follow her on instagram @doctorpreneur_sa.
