Missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370

Big Topic Episode 1

On March 8, 2014, during a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, Malaysia Flight 370, a Boeing 777 completely disappeared.

There were 227 passengers and 12 crew members.

The crew last communicated with air traffic control around 38 minutes after takeoff when the flight was over the South China Sea. The aircraft was lost from air traffic control radar shortly after, but was tracked by military radar for another hour. They watched it deviate from it’s flight path with a sharp turn left turn before ultimately losing radar.

Despite the largest and most expensive search in aviation history, the flight has never been found and all aboard are presumed dead.

There are tons of conspiracy theories on what actually happened, as well as some recent developments.

Listen in as the experts confuse plane crash tragedies of the 2010s with each other, speculate on the fate of the poor passengers and crew, and figure out what ... REALLY may have happened here.
