PART 1 OF 2: Stevie Wonder is an American singer-songwriter and a pioneer of modern music who was born in 1950 with complications that caused him to be blind. He was signed to Motown at age 11 and became a child prodigy, making history as the youngest artist to have a No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 at age 13. He has won 25 Grammy Awards, sold over 100 million records worldwide, and is an inductee of various music halls of fame. He is also a political activist and a United Nations Messenger of Peace. Despite his numerous accomplishments, today Wonder will receive perhaps his biggest honor yet — as the focus of a discussion on the breakaway hit podcast Big Topic.

Over the past several decades, many conspiracy theorists and celebrity peers have publicly speculated that Stevie Wonder has been pretending to be blind all of these years. Today we’ll cover some of the compelling evidence to discuss what the Internet has to say on this, and break it down for the people at home.
