Layan graduated in 2009 from Jordan University's Faculty of Rehabilitation. She was then awarded her Master's in Psychology with a thesis titled "The effect of sensory integration on children with ADHD." Layan also holds a Diploma in Education and has completed several training courses in Handwriting Without Tears, Sensory Integration Level 1, and Primitive Reflexes. She is the co-founder of Etwasel in Maadi and has 11 years of experience working with children in Egypt and in the UAE.
