This Week Around Late Night IM
As many of you know that follow me on Facebook, I am currently traveling from Dallas to Malaysia, and I got stuck in LAX because I missed my connection.  Since I was stuck in a hotel room anyway, I decided to record this episode — and I was motivated by the main topic of handling customer feedback.  This was both because I was around a lot of angry customers at the airport last night, and because I got some great feedback from listener Jack.
Listener Feedback From Jack
Here is what listener Jack had to say:
I am right along with pat flynn and hope you are to regarding constructive criticism and would hope along the lines that people do the same to me with criticism. Just an FYI, your intro is way too long, you lost me at 20 seconds I didn't even listen to your conversation with Pat Flynn. Sounded somewhat negative and brought out a negative side of Pat. Way too much fluff, get to the point of your conversation already. Bad Bill Clinton impersonation too. I can appreciate you wanting to keep things interesting, but I'm here for information. Great website though. Looks professional. Please don't take this the wrong way, just as critiquing. Good luck with your site. Wish you all the best.
I thought that was some pretty good feedback — and I want to know what you think about it.  I use the opportunity to handle this feedback in the way that I think you should handle feedback in your business:  with kindness and an open mind.
Corn Sheller Update
I put AdSense on the corn sheller site, and the result was not great.  I report my results and explain what the problem is.  It has to do with the difference between the Search Network and the Content Network
Shawn's Funk
Finally, we hear about listener Shawn's funk and what I think he should do about it.  Maybe that funk advice will help you.  Maybe not.  But either way, you get to hear the cool funk music from episode 041 again, and that's cool.  The cool music is from Beau Hall and it is call No Sleep Funk.
