Full Court Man

Full Court Man Ep. 1

Cameron Erikson

What's going on? Friends? Welcome back to another season of Full Court, man. Uh, I am so excited to be here. I've got my two co-hosts here with me. Don't bet bad clubs and Lordy, I'm Cap and Cam. We're ready to kick off another season of college troops. Some of us need it. Some of us need it desperately. Some of us are bad. NFL Handicappers, some of us are bad. CFB handicappers, some of us, uh, cheer on bad NFL teams. Our favorite NFL teams might be bad. Uh, so with, with that being said, don't pet bad clubs. How are you doing? I am fired up. I need this in my life for all the reasons you said. This is gonna be a massive college basketball season for me. It's been a long time coming, but I think the Louisville Cardinals are officially back. Lordy, you locked in? I'm locked in. Uh, it's just a really refreshing time of year. I'm looking forward to the season. I always mention this, but uh, this Sunday we're gonna turn the clocks back. It's gonna start getting dark earlier. Everyone's gonna be boohoo pour. We got games all night. College basketball starts up. Um, I'm ready to roll. I think I'm, I've, I've been strategizing. I think I'm actually starting to get my footing in college football, which it will be encouraging because that's gonna cause me to take things a little slower in the college basketball slate. There you go. Make sure I, uh, I'm gonna be a sponge out here. Got it. Absorb as much as I can and fully lock in. Probably come early December when we have some data points. Correct. You're gonna let things settle before you attack. That's right. That's sharp. Yeah, I think we preached that last year. I don't know if I fully abided by that, but uh, definitely for our listeners out there, that's something that, uh, we should all take into consideration because also it's a mindset switch. You gotta get used to the lines again. You know, you're used to football numbers and everything like that, Uhhuh. Uh, but yeah, you need data points and we're gonna do our best to try to get into, uh, talking about some of these teams, some of these conferences. We've got, uh, we'll, we'll preview every Power five conference. We'll go into the mid-majors a little bit, give you some, uh, low majors, low major teams potentially to look out for. Um, and then we will, we'll give you some picks, some bets, some, uh, we'll have some fun at the end of this show. Um, but yeah, I think sound advice, Lordie, I'm fired up. I couldn't be more, more excited for college hoops. I think, uh, you know, there's a lot of talk out there. There's a lot of. Uh, things being said about the NIL era, different players everywhere. It's hard to keep track of some people. For some people that might be intimidating, it might be discouraging for us. We, we are gonna feast on that. We dove into the details and we are ready to give that to you. And, uh, I wanna start off the show by talking just about a few of the, um, key changes for the 25, 26 season. We have some rule changes and don't bet bad clubs is well versed on those rule changes. Let's start with the coaches challenge because this is an interesting one. Uh, we're gonna see NBA style out of bounds goal tending challenges. Is that right? Uh, yes. I, I, I don't, I guess I don't know this one as much. I have a couple of rules written down. I, I don't know. All of a sudden I got. Grouped it as the well-versed rule guy. I, I'm not really sure if I'm the rule guy. Maybe we need a ref. Maybe we need a ref to step in anyways. That would be outstanding. Do you know it? No. But you have the, you do. I know. I have a rule. I have a rule, I have a rule written down. There is, there is a challenge rule that's gonna be different. We'll just learn that as it goes. The wording on it is really complicated, but yes, it sounds a lot like it's gonna be the NBA. There is a rule change though, that I think is going to affect college basketball and it's gonna be interesting to see how the continua, the continuous motion rule a player going towards the basket absorbs contact will be permitted to pivot or complete a step to finish a field goal. Okay, so what does that tell you? That tells you, you take two steps. If you're going to the basket and you absorb contact, you can take another step, right? And shoot the shot or pass. Are you gonna see SGA foul baiting? I hope not. It's certainly gonna be harder to, to, to ref. That's a good point. Yeah. That's, there're definitely there are gonna be some end of game scenarios. We already know where that's gonna come into play. Um, a guy's gonna, you know, get fouled as he's gathering, go up, make a shot. There will be some discussion about whether or not he was already in the motion. It sounds like they're gonna get the benefit of the doubt this year. Yeah. Um, it'll, you'll probably see that come into play in close situations. Maybe that'll have an effect on some of the coaches' strategies towards the end of the game. Yeah. Right. Um, there's always discussion about fouling up three things like that, that's probably even more enticing now. Correct. With this new rule where, uh, you're more likely to get an and one going to the basket. Right. You're gonna, there's gonna, I, that's, that was my thought. Exactly. Is there, it's gonna be more of a strategy now to put the ball on the floor and go to the cup at the end of the games. It's gonna be crazy. I don't, it's, I don't really know if you can predict how it's gonna work. Like, I don't know if there's an edge betting, but it's definitely gonna no change things. Yeah. That is interesting. Uh, well, I guess, you know, just see how it plays out. I don't, I don't really know. Um, but it will, I it will lead to more fouls in general, I think. Probably. Yeah. Probably. I think it's, it's just one more thing that's gonna be, well, actually harder for officials to, to try to be fair on. And guys are just gonna like, I think it's gonna help ball handlers for sure. It's already a guards game, and if you can go to the basket and you can spam another, like, absorb contact like you're going to the hoop and take another step and shoot like big guards guys that drive it to the. Yeah. Well, I think, I think you, you did make a good point about, um, end of game scenarios and being more enticing to go to the rim. Like if you get a step on a guy, but you're still kind of in that gray area. Yeah. Maybe you're like a foot behind the free throw line. Uh, and a guy, a guy hacks you, you can probably take those two steps and try and still get a layup off where it's not gonna be a foul on the floor. You have a chance at an and one. Um, so maybe, you know, desperation three isn't as, uh, enticing as, as going to the hoop. And as we're talking about it right now, I think this the next real change. If you're gonna do this, fine, but then you need, it needs to be six fouls. I think there's probably gonna be more fos called. Sure. Right. That could be. I've been be, I've been begging for six fouls and Yeah. Right. And it's already been a thing. So there needs to be six fouls. And then the next rule is that the growing rule officials have the option to call a flagrant one foul. When a player is hitting the groin. Previously it was a, a flagrant two and you were ejected. So that's a good rule change. You know how sometimes dudes accidentally kick dudes in the nuts and they, the nuts that's happened. It happened a couple times last year. That's no longer a flagrant two. That's a flagrant one, which is a good, okay. All right. That's a big deal. Yeah. Um, not really the NBA, the NBA challenge thing kind of, uh, worries me. Why? Because, because end of game situations, we already have enough reviews as it is, are we talking about one review per half and, and maybe it doesn't impact the pace of the game, you know, when we are talking about late game situations, but maybe a coach keeps it in the pocket. You know, you know, you know what I'm saying? I mean, there's already enough reviews as it is. It seems like the last two minutes of a college hoops game takes forever at both ends of the half. I guess why I didn't really pay too much mind to, to that rule change was just, I don't really know how to comprehend it until I see it. But I mean, yeah, you're right. That's a good point. I just hope it doesn't become that. Yeah. And, and the end of games already do take long enough because they already review like pretty much every out of bound call out of bounds call under like a minute. Yeah. Um, they already reviewed everything, but I will, I do like, uh, the aspect of you being able to challenge a goal attending because Yeah. If it is a rule change, in my understanding of that would be that you can challenge a goal tending that was not called, whereas if a goal attending was not called on the floor, it was non-viewable. Good. I think, I think that's a good change because there are plenty of times when the replay will clearly show as goal tending, but you don't have the opportunity to review it. That's one where it's, if it slows the game down when it happens, obviously, like however a goal tending happens. It does or doesn't happen? It happens a lot and I would rather the game slow down and get it right. Mm-hmm. Unless you're on the wrong side of it with your pick. Well, of course if I have the other side, I think it's a stupid rule change. All right. Uh, we have a few teams in new conferences. There's not a lot, there's not as many as we were talking about last year. Kind of nice. Um, with a bunch of power five changeups here, but we have, Seattles going to the WCC. Gonzaga's gonna be moving out at the end of this year. So, uh, Seattle from the WAC to the WCC, uh, you have UMass to the Mac. They were in the A 10 prior, correct? Yes. Um, Delaware and Missouri State are to conference USA aligning with their football programs. I didn't have anything else other than that was, I mean, is there anything that's, you guys noted about any conference realignment stuff? Or does that cover it? I think that covers it, which is shocking. Yeah. So not, not much. Not much. There. Let's, let's dig in then. Did you say, let's, did, did you say GCU to the mountain? West side. Oh, GCU to the mountain west. Yes. Uh, that actually came, came, you know, fast. I mean, they're, they're in the mountain west. Yeah. So that, that'll be interesting. I do think there'll be, and this is a big thing already in college, uh, basketball with the conference realignment and the frequency of games. I mean, in football you're playing one game a week max. Um, we're gonna see some tough travel spots. Think about Delaware going down to like utep. I mean, that's, that could make for a long week True. Something to pay attention to. And maybe we will touch on some of that in our, uh, bet section later. Very true, very true. Great point. Alright, let's talk about, let's talk about the Power Five conferences, and we'll start with the A CC. Um, I know. Don't bet bad clubs is excited to talk about his Louisville club, but I'll go in order of the coaches poll here. You got Duke, uh, despite Cooper Flag being gone, they're, they're, uh, still projected to win the, the conference there. North Carolina. You've got Louisville, uh, poised for a year or two breakout under Pat Kelsey. You've got North Carolina State in there with Will Wade at the helm. Now, Notre Dame is kind of a, an older roster that, um, has potential here after struggling for a few years. They might be in play for their first tournament birth since 2019. Um, I'm gonna let you lead this one off bad clubs because I know you're chomping at the bit to talk about your Cardinals and why you love him in the a CC this year. I love this Cardinals team, man. I think Pat Kelsey, he's, he's not for everybody, but he doesn't give a shit what you think. He doesn't care who you are. This dude's got a chip on his shoulder and he, this Louisville team is deep. They are very deep. They have a lot of returners. Um, Hadley the kid from, uh, Creighton, Durham Hall, Minnesota. He's a good two-way player. Khaw Pryor. He actually just got hurt. I think he's gonna be out the first week or two. You got heard again? Yeah. He missed like all of last year. Yes. Yes. The former, uh, south Florida kid. He got hurt right away last year. He's long. Six nine. He can shoot it a little bit. Uh, Keani ru, he's a freshman or he is a, he was a freshman last year. He got some tick. It's Pat Kelsey's last recruit at Charleston. He, when he went to Louis, followed him. He looked pretty good last year. So his sophomore season should be huge. And then they got the five star, uh, uh, point guard Mikel Brown. I really like this kid. He's six, uh, yeah, he's six five. He's a two-way player. He can shoot, he played on the A team and under USA team and, uh. Numerous games. He was the best player on the court. Um, transfer Ryan Conway. Xavier six four Guard. It's one of the top transfers in the nation. Third team, all Big East. Last year, Isaac Nee McNeely from Virginia. Three year starter of Virginia averaged 16 a game last year. They got this German kid. He's six 11, top 25 recruit. I think he's gonna play center. He is. We'll see what happens. Uh, posted 12 and seven last year, pro ball over in Germany, and they're gonna play fast. Man. This team's gonna play fast. They ramped up their schedules too. They played Memphis, Cincy, Indiana, Tennessee, and Baylor. So listen, all things being considered this Louisville, it's happy you're happy to be a Louisville fan. I don't know what else to say. I'm hyped. Well, college basketball's good when Louisville's good. And we saw a glimpse of it got a taste of it last year, but they, yeah, they should be, uh, should be poised for another breakout year this year. Yeah, it's good to see some continuity on the team. It, it is disappointing that, um, KA, Sean Pryor is gonna miss the first part of the year. Is, is that, do you know how long he's gonna be out? I think it's just a week or two I think. I don't think it's crazy. Okay. I think, I think with doing the research, Louisville's a team where they did a really good job of bringing in transfers obviously, but recruiting good freshmen, getting an international player and then ke also keeping a lot of their core from last year. Yeah. Who's gonna handle the ball for that team? Mike L. Brown. Mike L. Brown. He'll be the point guard. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Conway. Conway will, can too, but I mean, he's a good shooter. They're all good shooters. That's another thing. Everybody that steps on the floor can shoot a three, so, and they play fast. Pat Kelsey's like a top four, Ken Palm coach the last five years. So all thing, what do you like in the a, C, C? Um, I, I'm interested in Virginia. Mm-hmm. Mainly because of their roster makeup. Uh, they have Malik Thomas, a kid from San Francisco. Ari White was, uh, one of the star players on North Dakota State, who, if you remember, last year, North Dakota State played zero defense, shot a ton of threes. Um, looks like they have two, uh, well, they have down hall from BYU. I'm wondering if Virginia's going to, going to make kind of a heel turn and play an uptempo style just based on the roster makeup. It looks to me like, um, some guys that have not been at program like BYU North Dakota State, um, those are two teams that weren't, you know, defensive minded. Maybe the coach can whip those guys into shape, but I'm wondering if they're gonna look to score more and kind of leave that grinding style. In the past, I. I'm thinking about playing some of their overs early, um, just as kind of a shot to see if that's how it plays out. But that's a team that's interesting to me. It looks to me like they'll, they'll be able to score. Uh, I kind like them to bounce back and be in the a CCC picture towards the end of the year. Interesting. Um, Ryan, tell Ryan o what? Ryan Odom VCU u's old coach. Yeah. Very. The nail true. I think you had the nail nail on the head there. That's fantastic. Uh, I'm, I'm, I'm gonna tell you what, I'm very excited to watch this North Carolina State Club with Will Wade at the helm. I really am. I like what he did in the portal. You got, uh, you got Darien Williams from Texas Tech who had an outstanding year last year. I think he could be an a CC player of the year type, type guy. Uh, you got Terrance, a Arseno from Houston. Trey Holman comes over from Michigan State. Uh, he brought his guy over from, uh, from, uh, uh, what am I name? McNee. Yeah, from McNee. What's the, the kid name? I name Lincoln on his name. Copeland Ka Copeland. Yes. Yes. Um, they, they also added some depth in the front court a little bit. They got, uh, van Allen Lubin from UNC, Jerry Dang, from FSUI think. Um, I don't know. I just, I just like the way they piece this thing together and I think they can be a tournament team in Will Wade's first year. I'm excited to watch them play. Um, I mean, will Wade, is it, it's, it's, it's controversial too.'cause, you know, it's a controversial hire, uh, first of all, and just the, you, you know, the success that he had at McNeese, I think is undeniable. So to see him come back and compete in the a c that's gonna be fun. Um, I'm gonna tell you what I am, I'm interested. I'll give you a sleeper team. I'm interested in what Wake Forest has. I, I know they lost a lot of players, but it's a good culture that Steve Forbes is building down there. Uh, little Nugget. They've had 10 plus a CC wins in every single season he's been there. Um, I think he's got a good mix of some veterans and some young talent. Uh, we'll see what they can do. Uh, I also like Notre Dame to make the tournament for the first time since 2019. I like that too. Um, I'm glad you mentioned Notre Dame because I just remember last year, remember there was a, there was like a week of press conferences from Shrewsbury and he was just like, yes, you, if you don't want to come watch us lose, I don't come'cause we're gonna try to win every damn like stuff like that. And yeah, I, I think there's some fire. Um, you know, Marcus Burton was just a sophomore last year, but he was a stud even as a freshman. They still have Braden, Shrewsbury, KJA to kinda hold down the front court. I think they're now a more experienced team. Um, exactly. And with a chip on their shoulder, I like them to, to make some noise as well. I like s Lemme ask you guys. Yeah. I like Syracuse, Adrian Autry, he's on the hot seat, like he has to win now Car, I think Carmelo's kid is like really good and they got some, they got some decent transfers. I like them as a hobby. Yeah, as a dark horse. Keani. I like that. Keani. Anthony Keon, I don't know how to say his name. It looks like Keon Keani. Are they still abandoning the, they, they're still not a zone team, right? They're man to man now. They play, they, they, yeah, they play more man. They pick up full court. I don't know about that. They play, they do play the man defense now. Yes. All right. Uh, let me ask you guys a, a, a question here off the cuff, is Hubert Davis on the hot seat? Yes. Yep. Absolutely. Absolutely. And by the way, I think this is his last season. Regardless. I'm not, I'm not big on Notre Dame or North Carolina. I'm not big on him either. But I mean, if they miss the tournament, yeah, if they miss the tournament, he's toast. I think if they exit in the first round, again, he's toast. He'll be working at Barstool. Wow. They made a, oh, he'll be on Fox. I made a, uh, I clicked the wrong thing, but they, and they went to the tournament. Oh yeah, that's right. They played in the playing game. Yes, rj. But then they beat the absolute shit out of San Diego State in the plane. Correct, correct. And then lost to Ole Miss who was That's right. Yes, yes. Yeah, he's on the hot seat, man. I mean, this is, and the accs getting, I think a little bit better. Louisville's huge. So they can compete with Duke. I think NC State, you're absolutely right. I think Virginia's interesting with Ryan Odom, Notre Dame, like you guys said. Syracuse. SMU. Yeah. I, I do think you're right though. I think it is. Um. I think it's kind of do or die for, for Hubert Davis in North Carolina. I don't think you can finish middle of the pack again. I think they need to be contending for an ACC champion. Right. Uh, especially with the Ross. They have Seth Trimble. They got the big guy from Arizona, Henry Azar, uh, Keon Evans from Colorado State. Like they, they, and of course they'll obviously have some, some five star freshmen. They put a good roster together. Yeah. Um, there will be plenty of shots to go around now that RJ Davis is gone. So I I'm with you there. I think it's a prove it year. I mentioned SMUI did notice this in their scheduling. They screwed up their scheduling. I think I was talking to Cam about this, but they didn't make their schedule hard at all. And you just can't do I don't like that. Yeah, I don't like that. You can't do that. Like, I actually, the one thing I loved about Louisville is they made their, their schedule much harder. I think that's, that is a, at the end of the day, it's a net positive. We saw it with North Carolina last year. Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. You just get one of those wins and, and like SMU completely screwed it up. They could be like a 2020 win team this year and miss the tournament because they screwed their, I think that's one thing we talked about last year as the season went on was like, uh, you stack as many quad one opponents as you can. Yes. Because if you lose it doesn't hurt you as much. No. But if you win, that vaults you quite a bit. Correct. Yeah. They incentivize that, which is good. I think it's good. Yeah, I agree. Alright, let's move on to the Big East. Uh, you've got St. John's, they're one of the favorites to win it all. Uh, I don't know what their odds are. Zubie Edge of four could be a player of the year candidate. Um, uh, Yukon, Creighton, Marquette, Providence I think is a sleeper. Yes. And if, uh, Bryce Hopkins can be healthy, I actually really like Providence as a lock to win, uh, to make the tournament. Yeah. Um. I looked for some value in this conference and uh, I was, as I was doing research, I, I, I looked at Providence as being a team that might have some value there. I think, uh, their win total is at 19 and a half and I would like the over on that. I think they scheduled kind of soften the non-con two, which would help with that bet. But I don't know if, uh, that, you know, that doesn't necessarily help with their tournament chances. They'll have to win some big East games, but I think they can, um, assuming they stay healthy. Uh, what do you guys think about the Big East? Lori, let's start with you. Yeah, I think same kind of thing. Uh, St. John's obviously jumped off the page to me at first. Uh, I, Zubie Edge of force is a hustle guy. He can make a ton of plays. He even shot the three a little bit last year, which was surprising. Um, a team that I like is Yukon. I think you have a, a real steady presence, uh, in the back court with solo ball. Alex Caravan is back somehow. I thought that dude was a projected draft pick like two years ago, so I don't know how that guy's back. Um, but I mean, uh, obviously they have some good transfers. Uh, you know how Hurley's gonna do it, but Terrace, terrace Reed's back. Uh, Silas Deery from Georgia, I believe. Malachi Smith. Uh, I like Yukon again. I think solo ball's a complete playmaker. I just remember multiple games, uh, um, probably the tournament game. We had Florida where I bet Florida, and it seemed like solo ball just kept making shot after shot to keep him in the game. So I think he's a big game player. I like, uh, I like Yukon kind of chalky, but, but they have a good, good roster makeup. The only thing that sucks about Yukon, I agree with you, is that they're freshmen, the five star, that he's a really good shooter. Braylin Mullins out for six weeks. Mm, that sucks. But you were talking, uh, you talked Cam about Providence earlier, which I love. Yeah. A team, when we, if you wanna talk about value in the Big East, I think DePaul, you're gonna have a lot of value. With Chris Holtman, he returns three pieces. Uh, he added some transfers. Uh, this two lane kid. I think Holman's a good coach. DePaul might be the best bad team in the Big East. Think about it. I mean, who, I mean Xavier, I guess, but I don't like, I don't like Patino is gonna have a tough first year, I think. I agree with you, Butler. Yeah, I, yeah. See Hall Butler's just been disappointing. I mean, it's always been like, maybe Butler. Maybe Butler now. Bad model. He hasn't been, yeah, yeah. Uh, Patino is already preaching patience in some of his press conferences. So Yeah. I mean, they're gonna, I don't think. That's what we've been preaching on Voyage about the Minnesota Vikings. So I don't think that's a good sign. No. Didn't, no. As it turns out as a, it sounds smart, it sounds really like stoic. As it turns out it's bad. The one thing, the one thing that Patino has going for him though, is I think he's gonna implement his same style. Um, they're gonna look to turn teams over. They're gonna try to, uh, they're gonna try to play fast. They're gonna try to get as many possessions per game as possible. And I think he could do a good job with that, with the, with the roster that he has. But yeah, they're gonna have to win games in the, in the Big East to be competitive. Um, is St. John's a title Contender? Yes. Legit. Legit. Final Four. Final Four Club, final Four. Merit. Yeah. I think you'd have to pick a ton. I mean, who knows? Yeah. Okay. What about Creighton or you guys? Think anything about Creighton or Marette? I just, I I, I was gonna ask you about Marquette. I did Marquette bring in any transfers this year? Zero. Do we have any? No. Zero. But they do it again. Again. Yeah, they do. Yeah, they did it last year. They, they're, they, I think what they do is they, uh, they just say, screw it. We're gonna develop good players. Yeah. But are we okay with that? I mean, were we impressed? I, I think if you ask most Marquette fans, a first round exit is not, not a successful season. I think, I think it looks better because it, but it levels out at some point. You gotta make a splash. I think you probably, I think it raises their floor, but lowers their ceiling. Yes. That's a great saying. It. That's absolutely perfect. And, and then Creighton. Creighton, I'm just not sure. I mean, I. I mean, if they, they, I don't know. Their defense needs to be better. They got, uh, they got, uh, some Iowa transfers. Josh Dix and Owen Freeman. Yeah. Um, Jackson McAndrew needs to, needs to step up after LK Brenner leaves. It's just, it, I don't know. Don't they'll be good. Like you are leading off with Iowa transfers like Iowa sucked last year. Yeah. I didn't, that didn't, that didn't, um, make me feel good. No. No. Seeing that? No. What about Villanova? Kevin Willard takes over the program. They're gonna have to start some freshmen. I'm not, I don't like this, this roster. Um. What's the, what's the coach's name from Maryland? Kevin Willard. Kevin Willard. Oh yeah. Yeah. I see Devin ask you on there, like, that dude has bounced around from, he went Kentucky to Cal. Yeah. To like Texas State. I mean, what's that guy doing in a Power Five program again? I agree. We'll talk about him later, but I think Marilyn's gonna be much better this year. Mm-hmm. Sorry, I keep having, uh, a little bit of technical difficulties here. Let's move on to the Big 10 then. Okay. Um, Purdue is the favorite to win the Big 10. I dunno how they keep doing it. They're gonna stack, I mean, obviously they're, they're returning Braden Smith Fletcher lawyer, correct. Trey Kaufman. Ren. Yeah. If I have my, uh, details correct in front of me here, um, Michigan should be solid with Dusty May, um, in year two. Um. UCLA. I'm very high on UCLA with Donovan Dent and Sky Clark. They're gonna be super fun. They're gonna be super fun to watch. Um, Oregon I think is gonna be good. Again, Nate Biddle is a, is a defensive player of the year type guy. Um, you got Illinois with some, with some, uh, international flare. Once again, they're gonna be fun too. Um, I think Indiana is interesting with fun with, uh, Darien Dre stepping in there. Um, what do you, uh, what do you like in the big, the big 10 bad clubs? I was just going through it right now. Um, the, uh, I, I don't know. I, I guess I just like the Big 10 this year. I like what I see. Yeah, the Big 10 this year, I think it's the Big 10 has been, they always get a lot of teams in the tournament, but it's always kind of like, eh, they don't really win a lot. They don't win. They don't perform on the tournament. I think it took a huge step forward this year. I think the Big 10 as a whole is gonna be good. I people are really high on, have you guys seen this kid from Michigan play? He's projected to be like Player of the Year. Yel. He's like a, got a boy. Yes. Yes. Board. Where did he play last year? UAB. Yeah. Did you watch him play at all? I don't know. Yeah. Is he a stud? He is. He's like a, uh, probably like six nine. Um, just, I don't know what his comp would be, but he can do it all. He can shoot, he can handle the ball, he can get to the rim. He can play with his back to the basket. Uh, he is a, I think he is a preseason all American, if I remember correctly. Yes, yes, yes. No, he's supposed to be the real deal. I mean, Elliot Kado, Kado is a huge piece. He's, you got a point guard, you need a point guard in the Big 10. Roddy. Gale. I guess. I think Michigan could be really good this year. Like really good. Like final four. Good. Yeah. I would like to see that. Uh, Lordie, what do you like, what are you looking for in the Big 10? So, I, I do like UCLA, um, so I, we kind of talked about that already. Saw some preseason film on Donovan Dent. He looks incredible. Yep. Yeah. Uh, they have a good inside out game. Tyler Billow can shoot. So I think there'll be solid. I like a team that we didn't mention off the top was, uh, Michigan State. Mm-hmm. Jeremy Fears. Yeah. Uh, that kid's a baller. Yeah. He really showed out in the tournament. He showed out throughout the year. Um, again, it's one of those, I, I personally think continuity in college basketball is huge. Um, when you don't have to, you know, try and install an offense with new guys. So they bring back Colin Car, Jackson, Kohler, down low, Jeremy Fears, uh, Trey Fort's, a kid that can shoot the lights out. Um, so yeah, I liked them. They had, they have Cam Ward. I didn't know he was a two sport athlete. Not sure how that's gonna work with the Titans off season. But no, I really do like this Michigan State team. I like the continuity. Uh, Jeremy Fears is your go-to guy down the stretch. He can make plays. So that's a team that I'm looking for, um, to make, to make some noise. Do you think, uh, bad clubs, do you think, um, Nico Medved and the Golden Gophers have any bite in his, in his first year in the Big 10? Dude, I am so excited to watch this team. I mean, the flip on college basketball for me with the gophers in Louisville has been unbelievable. Yeah, dude, I mean this Cade Tyson kid from UNC, he didn't play it all last year. Maybe he should have, but he played at Belmont. He lit it up. Apparently he's gonna go off. They got a returning point guard, Isaac Asma, six three from Cherry, Minnesota. Never been in my life. Small town. Um, lot of good shooters. It's gonna be fun to watch. I love, I love the hiring. I don't know how good I think they're gonna be. I think like, um. I think Minnesota, Iowa is gonna be super fun to watch.'cause the contr, the big ten's gonna be really fun to watch this year because I think there's the matchups, like Indiana UCLA is gonna be electric, right? Mm-hmm. You know, like those teams are gonna be some of the most fun teams to watch in the nation. I think you have Minnesota, you have like this kid from Northwestern, uh, he's back defending scoring leader Maryland. Who knows what Buzz has cooking? Rell Payne's back. True. Um, and then who knows, maybe Washington figures it out. UUSC maybe figures it out. Although Chad Baker Mazarra on USC is wild. Yeah, that is wild. How's that dude still playing college basketball? Dude, he's. He's like the George Pickens of college basketball. Exactly. That's a great, that is. You just, you never know. You could swing on someone at any point. At any point. Yeah. Any point. Mrs. What do you guys think about organ? Can we pencil, organ into the tournament? I, I, I think so. Yes. 100%. I'm, I'm in on Oregon. Yeah. I like Bit and Shead coming back. They've got two international guys coming in. It'll be interesting to see how they fit in and, uh, what their, what their style is. But yeah, I, I'm, and of course it's Altman, so you always gotta consider that. Yeah. Um, I think they're similar to like, uh, Michigan State. Mm-hmm. It's like, yeah, I know. I know. It's kind of the same thing every year, but I just want to see it, just to be sure type thing. Yeah. Right. Uh, I got a value pick that I'm, I'm betting a, a place in a future on. Okay. And it's UCLA three seed or better plus 400. Wow. Now, the thing that scares me with U-C-L-A-A little bit is their ability to rebound. They, they could get touched up on the glass here, but I think they, uh, if I'm not mistaken, they don't travel a, I might have this wrong. Yeah, they have like only, they only have like one real big that's coming back. But you have Sky Clark and Donovan. I think they're, I, I don't know about that man. I think this is, this scream, squeak into the tournament playing game team type thing. Really go on a run in the tournament, because I think they're gonna struggle in the Big 10. Hmm. That is interesting. I, I liked them. I thought they'd be, I, I had them penciled in as just a steady team. We're gonna be at the top of the conference all year. Three seat or three seat or better. That's, I would say that's a good value pick.'cause right now the roster looks to me like, um, like a five, six seed. So, yeah. Right. So yeah, I mean that's what E-E-E-S-P-N bracketology for what that's worth, has'em as a four seed currently. So if they can beat projection a little bit, they, they could end up there. But yeah, they'll have to play good in the Big 10. And the one thing that concerns me is, is size probably, and, and rebounding. But, um, Donovan, Denton, sky Clark, I mean, I think that's gonna be lethal. Oh, it's gonna be, so it's gonna be, must watch tv. Mick Cronin. Donny Denton. Oh my God. That is, must watch. Absolutely. All right, let's, uh, let's take a look at the Big 12. Big 12 great conference once again. Uh, you got Houston at the top, Kelvin Sampson after losing in a title game, you got, uh, Manny Sharp coming back. Milo Huon is Milo. Huon is back. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Um, the Texas Tech Club, JT Toppin, player of the Year candidate. Uh, you got BYU with Mark Pope, DEA di Bata. I don't know how to pronounce his name, but we'll learn how to pronounce his name because he's gonna be elite. Uh, Kansas could be interesting. Arizona, I think has some, uh, some tooth. And then you've got a bunch of teams in the mid tier I, Iowa State, Baylor, uh, Kansas State. Um, what are you guys looking for in the Big 12? Laurie, let's start with you. Good glad you came to me first'cause I didn't wanna seem like a copycat. Not saying, not sure if anyone else has this pick, but it's BYU for me. Um, I like Richie Saunders, but really interesting is Robert Wright from Baylor Kid that can score the ball at Will and then Keda. I think they're gonna be lethal in the pick and roll. Uh, Kada is just a freak athlete. Throw the ball around the rim, he's gonna grab it and he's gonna dunk it. Um, and then of course you have Bansta who so far in some of the preseason scrimmages, which we may talk about later, looks as advertised. Um, yeah, obviously the projected number one pick probably, I would have to guess, highest paid college athlete right now. Um, so yeah, B-Y-U-I-I think that the, um, I think that the roster they have fits their uptempo style play with some shooters to surround, uh, steady presence inside with cda. So. That's my pick. Um, we'll shoot it over to battle clubs. What do you think? Gonna sound crazy, but I love Kansas this year. I watched him scrimmage. Really? Dude, Darren, this kid Darren Peterson Yeah. Is so, I understand the Depsa thing at BYU and I understand. I think they're gonna be very good. I just think this kid's gonna be a better, I There's something about him. He's six six combo. He does everything. I, he's, you know what he reminds me of a little bit. The way he moves. He's so smooth. He's like a six six Donovan dent. Hmm. I mean, his skill, that's attractive. You know what I'm saying? Like, the way he moves, like every move he makes is smooth, calculated, looks natural. He is a freak athlete. He, it's, I like Kansas this year. Yeah. I, I'm. I was just gonna say, I, I like Kansas. Um, I think they have a couple guys who like really separated themselves. You met, well, Darren Peterson, you mentioned he was a, he is a freshman, but he did look really good in their scrimmages. Melvin Council Jr. Yes. From St. Bonaventure. Yeah. Um, that guy was a stud. Uh, he really propelled them in the, in the a 10 tournament last year. Um, big time. Shotmaker and then Flory Bega. I, I'm a big fan of big body guys down low, that hustle. Um, yeah, athletic, I think he's gonna tear it up on the rebounds. Again. Another guy that if you can penetrate the paint, you just lo it up to him and he's gonna, he's gonna throw it down. So he played a, he played a lot last year. Remember my theory last year in the, at the end of games and stuff, hunter Dickinson, that wasn't sometimes not their best lineup. It was when the Flory kid was in, and I think he was. He was huge in that, that comeback against, or, well, when Houston came back against them, right? Is that how it worked? I can't remember, but I know what you're saying. Yeah. He came up big a couple times for them. Mm-hmm. And I think, I think Kansas Bill Self just needed to get over, um, what was the point Guard's name? Dewan Harris. Yeah. Yeah. Dewan Harris. And the Hunter Dickinson thing, it just, it ran its course and now he gets a fresh look. I think he's a great coach. And the, I mean, the transfer portal looks good. Gimme all of Kansas. I think they got the best, best freshman in the nation. Wow. Wow. That could be said. I, I'm gonna have to watch this kid. Um, I, I think it's a little bit too Bill Self kind of back against the wall a little bit. I mean, not, not really. I mean, he's got a lifetime contract, you know what I mean? But they, they've struggled the last couple years. And I think you're right. You get outta that rut a little bit. The same sort of deal that they've been running back. And now, now maybe it's a fresh look. I'm gonna go with chalk. I like Houston to win this conference again. Yeah, yeah. Um, I just, I just think they're too physical. I, I, I know Kelvin Sampson's gonna have his team ready to go. Um, I, I do love, uh, JT Toppin as a player of the year again, so, but, uh, but Gimme Houston. Yeah. I mean, Houston, the, the freshman they got too. Chris, uh, Sinek six 10 kid. He's a freak. I watched all his tape. Good. Alright. The, uh, the SEC. Florida, the defending champs, uh, reload boogie land. Uh, you got con you got Kentucky in there. You got, uh, Tennessee and Rick Barnes. You got Alabama. Uh, looking a little bit different. You got John k Perry's Arkansas Club, um, bad clubs. What do you like in the, uh, SCC? I mean, it's Florida all day. Zavian Lee, they return their front court. It's probably the best front court in America. They got this four star freshman solid ball handler, this top, uh, recruit. CJ Ingram's gonna play a lot. Todd Golden I think. I think Florida is just so good. And the o the other team, uh, I'll save it. Maybe somebody else has him, but Florida all day. Uh, well I've got a take while we're on the topic. Um, to me, the Zavian Lee. His play style to me doesn't scream. SEC point guard. Sure. Um, we kind of talked about it last year with, uh, Hanney going to Yukon. Yeah. I mean it's not like the Big East is like some crazy athletic physical league, but Right. I mean, Zavian Lee Princeton. Yeah. He could score. He's flashy, but like, I don't know that flashy is necessarily gonna work. He's pretty skinny. He is not crazy tall. I kind of think he's gonna struggle. Um, that's sort of my hot ish take, I guess you could say. I do think the roster around him, um, can perhaps hide it and make them still, like, they'll still be good. But, um, yeah, I'm interested to see how that plays out.'cause he, he doesn't have the body type and play style to me to really flourish in that league. But I think he can shoot, they have plenty of guards, that's the thing. Mm-hmm. Somebody's gonna play good. If it's not him, it's gonna be Boogie Fla. If it's not Boogie Fla, it's gonna be the, you know, the four star recruit. If it's not the four star recruit, it's gonna be the, you know, top 25 recruit. They have so many guards and they all can handle the ball. Yeah. Um, I think, uh, I think we'll see Arkansas rise back to the top. Yeah. Um, I like Wagner Knox Brazil is another guy. Like Yeah. He kind of disappeared, but, um, we saw flashes early, early in his college career. Well, he got hurt, right? Yeah. Yeah. He was, he had the Maui Curse'cause in Maui his freshman year. Unbelievable. He was unbelievable. I, dude, when I saw his name, I was, I had to scroll up to the article I was looking at and be like, is that this year? Mm-hmm. Yeah. Is that 2025? This is for the 2025 season. Yeah. Crazy. He's still playing. Um, I've heard, I've heard rumblings about this Darius Acuff kid that they got. He's the number seven recruit in his class. Yes. Mm-hmm. I'm hearing that kid is legit. Um, he's built like a Boswell for Illinois. Okay. He's like, he kind of like a football player. Yeah. Yeah. I like the roster makeup there. Um, I think DJ Wagner takes a step in his second, uh, in his sophomore year. Cam, what do you think of I do. I I like the hogs too. Um, I like, uh, I, I like they brought in Nick Pringle as well. Yes. Um, they have a seven footer from Bosnia. He's kind of raw, but he's big. He might, he might help him out protecting the rim. Don't forget about Jonas Adu either. He. Yeah, he got hurt last year down the stretch, but he was playing good ball. Um, I think, I think Arkansas is legit. Uh, I do, I do like Florida. Um, I think a team to watch out for, I think Texas might be a quick fix for Sean Miller. Um, Arthur Kama, Truman, mark, Pam, Heidi Duo's gonna be pretty nice. Um, they, I think I, I don't have their schedule in front of me, but I know they have a few games out west early. Maybe they play Gonzaga, I'm not sure. Um, yeah, I think that's right. But anyways, they, I think they're, I think they're good. I mean, I think, I'm not saying they're good, but, uh, I'm interested to watch how they, how they kind of gel together though. I, I think they could be. A quick turnaround post. Uh, Rodney Terry? Yeah. All the players you mentioned. And then he got Camden Heidi from Purdue. The Minnesota kid. Yeah. Yeah. He was the big, uh, he's the white kid. He's like six, seven wing player. He shoots the three really well. Um, am I, am I falling for the trap with Ole Miss again this year? You might be. I didn't have them. Um, I didn't have them highlighted as someone that jumped off the page. But they do have, Malik Dia was a stud. He's back. Kea GFA is a good player from High Point. Yep. Um, AJ Store and Corrin Johnson. Those are two big Power five transfers. James Scott, the Louisville kid, I watched a lot of him. He was pretty good last year. Chris Beard, AJ Store. AJ Store will be interesting. I think he's gonna, if he's gonna play good for somebody, it's gotta be Chris Beard. Chris Beard always wins. That's the thing. Yeah. Um, what about, uh, is, is Josh Hubbard back at Mississippi State? Yeah, dude, that was, that was another one, dude. I mean, come on. You can't count them out when that kid's on the floor. What about, uh, what about Auburn Post Bruce Pearl, the, the, uh, hat drop retires close to the season again? I mean, it was he forced out by the way? I'm not sure. We don't need to really get into that. No, I think he's, there's, there's politics surrounding that. That's right. That's right. Well, I think he's going into politics. That's what I heard. I heard, I saw it on a, a Reddit forum on, I saw it on a discord. It said he's going into politics. Does Tahad Pettiford have a interlock in his car? Uh, has a what could. Then you got a DD Dub. Oh, off Seasonably? Yeah. Oh, okay. Yeah. No, who cares? He's gonna be a good player. Yeah. Yeah. It's like the, it's like what? Uh, Gundy said after Ollie Gordon got his DUI, Hey, we've all driven after a couple beard. What's a big deal? Uh, let's give the kid a break. Uh, yeah, I don't know. Auburn's gonna be interesting. I don't really know what to say. I didn't know what to think. But going back to Josh Hubbard, that's just one game a year. They're gonna win at home. They shouldn't in like triple overtime. He's not on this. He's good for that. Once a year. Yeah. He'll put up a, he'll put up a 40 piece one time. Yes. Absolutely. All right. You guys wanna talk about the, uh, mid-majors? Yes. Jump into it. Let's jump into it. I, uh. We, we can start, um, going alphabetically, but I'll, I'll just, I'll start with this. The, this Gonzaga Club. I'm high on Gonzaga. I was high on them last year. I, I don't know what it is, but I'm starting to like, change my tune on Gonzaga a little bit here. Um, tie on Grant, foster steps in there. Uh, Graham Ek, uh, they load up in the non-conference again with their schedule. It's gonna be interesting to see how they play together. I'm, I'm really high on that Gonzaga Club. I don't think anybody competes with them in the, uh, in the WCC again, again this year. I mean, it's their last year. They've got Michael Ajai who had a bad year at Butler, but he's a great player. Returns to the WCC. He played for Pep Pepperdine a couple years ago. He is a solid player. See if he can regain some of that. Um, let's get into the, uh, the. The conferences though. I'll start with the, the American. Um, I don't know if you guys had anything on the American, but, uh, I mean I guess it's Memphis. Yeah, I guess, yeah, Memphis Reloaded, um, they got that kid, I think we talked about'em last year. The kid from UTS or not U-T-S-A-U-T-R-G-V. Abdul. Hakeem. Um, Doug McDaniel's A scorer. Uh, yeah, they just, I mean they're, they're a brand new team. Um, but obviously they're gonna get the, the high profile transfers. I'm always interested in North Texas. They're always a grind you down team. Yes. Defensive minded. They make you work for every single bucket. Um, their coach went to West Virginia, maybe. Yeah. Um, so they'll have a new guy at the helm this year. I'm excited to see how that plays out. Oh, their new coach is the Cleveland State guy who was um. They were, they might have won the, uh, horizon League, but I'm interested to see that. Yeah. Not, didn't have anything real notable listed. Um, south Florida brings in some, some talented guys. Um, they have a Robert Morris guy. We all know Robert Morris made a run. Oh, you know what? Robert Morris made the tournament. Um, Joseph Pinon from Arkansas State. Yeah. They got the leading score from Central Connecticut too. Ooh. So just kind of bouncing around there. I don't know if any of those, uh, were teams you got on your radar or if there was someone else that you, that popped out to you. I mean, I think Memphis is gonna run through the conference this year. I heard some rumblings, maybe about two lane. Yeah, I've heard that. I don't know they bring back, it's always, it's always kind of two lane. Yeah. He's a double, double machine in North Texas. Well nor, uh, speaking of North Texas, you mentioned'em off the rip, but North Texas at Michigan State in a couple weeks, November 15th. Watch out for that one. Ooh, I think that's a pretty good contest. Yeah. Do some scouting. Uh, you know, the reputation for the American is always can they get two teams in? Yeah. It's, it's, you know what I mean? Right. Um, what about conference USA? I didn't have anything there. Did you guys, I mean, it, it looks like Liberty's conference to lose it. Yeah, it appears that way. Yeah. I didn't even, I didn't even really dig into, uh, some of the other notables. Like usually, um, Kennesaw State has been feisty since they moved over. Louisiana. Tech lost a lot. I'm not sure where they're gonna fall in, but yeah, it's a liberties conference to lose. I used to like be that Louisiana tech club last year. Mm-hmm. Going, kind of going backwards that the point guard for law tech, that average like eight assists the game. Playing for San Diego State, I believe this year. Yep. Okay. Yeah. But at this, this conference USA is Liberty's conference. They have a freshman named TJ Drain. That's notable. Who's that? Okay. That, that is notable for just his name. I like the name. For what team? No, for what team? For Liberty. Oh, okay. Got it. Uh, what about the Mac? Uh, I'm hearing rumblings about Akron, but I don't really, I hate the Mac by the way. I think you mentioned this multiple times. I hate the Mac, but I'm hearing rumblings about this Zips Club maybe. Yeah. Yeah, they got the Jefe Evan Phy kid from Ohio State. Um, some other good transfers Kent State's usually in the mix. Uh, I did look at their roster, didn't see anything that, uh, jumped off the page either. Um, kind of with you, O Ohio brings back Jackson Pavelski, that kid's an automatic bucket. Um, so they might be able to make a run. One team I'm interested in is Toledo didn't, didn't look into Toledo one bit. I read, I read somewhere Miami of Ohio. I don't have any reason why, but they were solid last year. They were solid last year. But I looked into their roster and didn't see names I recognized from last year. So I'm worried about the turnover. It's always tough to know with these mid-majors. Yeah, the mid-majors. There's like a couple teams. I don't even know who, but they, it's like they returned three guys, which is a big deal for mid-majors. Mm-hmm. Crazy. Um, all right, let's, let's get into the Mountain West. One of our favorite conferences and, and we gotta cherish this year's Mountain West because it's gonna look a lot different in the coming years as teams exit for the PAC 12. Um, San Diego State. Utah State Boise State, UNLV, our New Mexico Club. Lordy, I'm gonna let you take this one over. Yeah. Uh, like you said last year, uh, in the mountain West as we know it, besides GCU entering the fold, uh, you already mentioned they lose Ty on Grant Foster, they lost, um, Ray Harris, their point guard. I'm not sure what to make of them. I'm gonna have to see it first. Uh, your preseason favorites, of course, is gonna be San Diego State, um, and Utah State. Both of those guys bring back a lot of scoring, um, from last year, as well as some, some big name transfers more on the San Diego state side. Magoon Gu, Magoon, GU and Miles Bird, Reese, Dixon, waters, all those guys are back. Um, Jeremiah Oden, a guy who played at Wyoming and then I believe bounced around a little bit. He's back. Uh, first, first thing I wanna say. I think this conference is wide open, more wide open than maybe people think. Um, UNLV has the leading score from High Point. They're bringing miles che from a really tough uc Irvine team Last year, Dre Gibbs, Longhorn was at Illinois. Um, so a lot of, a lot of big names, uh, entering the fold for UNLV, I think they'll be a good team. And you know what, I'll let you guys, you guys go ahead, talk about any teams, um, you're interested in before I get on my Lobo soapbox. Okay. The, I'm gonna piggyback on the NLV miles. Chase is my guy. Mm-hmm. I love this kid. He wears the baggy t-shirt under the jersey. He'll, he looks, he, he's unassuming, he looks like nothing. He gets the ball on his hand and he's just an absolute natural Josh, handsome Josh passer era begins. Yep. Yep. That's big. That's not nothing. I like you and I'll be a lot. It might be nothing. We don't know. It might not be nothing. I'm hearing people say that the floor for this San Diego State Club is a sweet 16. Uh, I don't, I I don't know if that's true, but I, I feel like every year we get over hype on San Diego State, they end up losing some games in conference. Um, and then they're, you know, they'll make a tournament and we'll see what happens. But they do return, uh, some, some key players there. I, I like the UNLV look. Um, I don't know, man, I don't know too much about what, uh, Boise State or Utah State really, really has, but, uh, yeah, I mean, Lordy, I'm gonna let you get on the, uh, soapbox about the Lobos'cause I want you to, I want you to tell me that the Lobos are gonna be competitive in this conference in Eric Oland's first year. Yeah. I'm sure everyone expected this. Um. But when it comes to the Lobos, I really can be unbiased. I really can be critical. Um, and let you know what I see. I mean, I, I'll even say I'm kind of disappointed that they ended up giving up that game to Washington State in the preseason exhibition, but I'm not gonna take a bunch from that just based on roster makeup alone. What do you want in a team? You want a steady ball handler, a senior guy that's gonna take care of the rock? Dayton Albury comes over from Utah State. Yeah, I think he's like a five year guy. Um, and, and, and I think one thing that Eric Olin is good at is he's able to make something outta nothing. He showed that at uc, San Diego. And I think the way that you do that is you get guys to buy in, you get guys to put forth effort. I love the fact that we have Taha Te Javis, Tevis Miller, six Man of the Year in, uh, the Summit League. He played at North, uh, North Dakota State. I'll have to fact check that. Um, but I mean, six Man of the Year to me just says Guy. That's he, he's the team. The team, the team. He'll put in effort, he'll play his role. Um, we have some interesting freshman Uriah attend. I think I saw he fouled out of the exhibition game, but had 11 points. Um, I was wondering how much run he would get. I think we do have a younger back court, so, uh, freak athlete, glad to see him getting, getting some run. The guy I'm most excited for on this team is Thomas La Bullion. Um, he comes over, he played some, some pro ball in Croatia. He led his league in rebounding. I watched some of his tape. He's a big body, physical wide. And he just likes to bang down low. He's going to be a monster on the glass. He's someone who can put his back to the basket and get a bucket. He can shoot a little bit, some pull up jumpers and some pick and pop. Um, like I said, this roster to me screams buy-in. It screams effort guys. It's gonna be a program that plays hard. I like the fact that they're picked middle of the pack. It's just some extra motivation. Um, I, I think Eric Owen is going to work some magic. Uh, do you guys have any, any takes on the logos? I have a question. Who's the, oh, yeah, go ahead. What about wing players? Didn't they, didn't they get more international players? I didn't even, uh, I didn't even mention they got a juco, all American, Antonio Cho. He's like a six nine. Yeah. Okay. Hybrid guy. Like he can handle the ball. He can drive, he can shoot. Okay. Um, yeah, they have a kid, EO Ponds. He's an international guy. Don't know much about his game, but he's pretty highly touted. Um, and then Jake Hall, I saw Jake Hall knocked down a few threes in that exhibition game. So we have some shooting on the perimeter. One thing I will say, and we'll just have to see how it plays out, I'm nervous about JT Rock. I'm hoping we don't have Sebastian for Link 2.0. Uh, I mean, he looks like he's 12 years old in his picture on ESPN. I just, I just, we don't know anything about him. He didn't play at Iowa State. Can he be physical? Can he use that frame to make a difference? That's to be seen in my opinion. You mentioned Jake Hall. I, I'm excited to watch him play. He also looks like he's 12 years old though, kind of, but uh, but yeah, he knocked down a few, three pointers in the exhibition game. I think. I think Aaron o Eric Oland is gonna implement a fast-paced style. They, you know, at uc, San Diego, they turned the ball over. They got out on the break. They shoot a lot of transition threes too. Um, which I think would be interesting read. I read they shot something like 45 threes in their exhibition game, which had it been an official game, it would've been a program record. Oh my God. So perhaps notable they might be a run and gun style. How was the shooting percentage? I don't believe they shot the ball very well. Somewhere in the mid twenties. So I'm just gonna give fair warning. This was Louisville ran into this problem last year, a couple times. They shot a ton of threes when they're not falling, it's one of the most miserable watches. Mm-hmm. So just fair warning. Mm-hmm. Yeah, and I think that's fair. Uh, one thing to note here, as we talked about some of the changes, a first year mountain west head coach has never won the mountain west, or I believe made the tournament in the last decade, over the last decade. Wow. On a first year Mountain West coach. Um, winning. Okay. I want to talk about, I wanna talk about a co that is interesting. I wanna talk about a couple more teams though, in the Mountain West because I have a lot of questions. Utah State. Boise State. And I want talk, I want to have the Grand Canyon conversation after we talk about Utah State. Boise State. Okay. How good are they gonna be? Are they gonna be really that good? I say no. I say Utah State. They bring back Mason. False Love, Drake, Allen. Yep. Um. The couple games I saw against the Lobos last year, the Carson Templin kid. He was like the bleach blonde kid that wears the headband. Oh yeah. I think he got into foul trouble in both games. Like I didn't see much from him. Sure. Um, I don't know, man. Like they just don't scare me that much. This the false le kid, everybody's like super highly to, he's a player of the year Yeah. Candidate. He's like, but he's 15 and six. It's like everybody averages 15 and six. Mm-hmm. And I remember watching him, he was good. He wasn't great. Yeah. I don't, I I, go ahead. Go ahead. No, I think that's the right way to put it. The good good. Not great. They, they added some interesting transfers. Gary Clark. Yeah. From, uh, Corpus Christi average 15 last year. Um, I, I mean I, yeah. Utah State, I mean, they'll be good, but how good they good. Not great. I think is, is a good way to put it there. Same with Boise State. Um. I think they added depth, but I don't know that it's like, I don't know. I think that that's really what it is. I, I agree with Ray's initial assessment that this is a wide open league. Yeah. Yeah. And the Grand Canyon conversation. I don't think there is one. I think they stink. Okay. Alright. I think they're gonna, I think they're gonna finish in the bottom half of this conference. Okay. Yeah. I'm with you, don't you? Yeah. Do they really like, are they loaded? Grand Canyon loaded? No, they lost. I read an article. Lot of guys I read, no, but I read an articles like they're gonna, they're gonna, they're gonna pay, like they have the fund. We know they have the funding. It's like, well do they though? Do they have more funding than New Mexico? Like what does that mean? It's a Ponzi scheme. I, I don't, well, I guess, do they, I don't know, man. Maybe they're selling enough, uh, shares. There's shareholders are contributing. They just, well, whatever. There must be, there's definitely a scheme going on there. There's, well look there, but how much, I don't know. But here's the thing, it, it will be tough for teams to go into Grand Canyon and, and find ways to win it. It's a tough place to go play that. That is, I mean, that's a fact. And it'll be interesting to see how that, um, you know, shapes out in the, in the mountain west with, with some of these clubs. But I, I don't believe in Grand Canyon in their first year in this, in this conference. I really don't. Maybe they have money. Maybe they'll end up being competitive. But they have a new head coach too, right? Um, no idea. Mm-hmm. I believe they have a new, new head coach, uh, Hemley. Sure. Anyways. I'm sure he is got a story, but, okay. So how many Jay Henley? Yeah. How many bids do you think the Mountain West Is this yearn? I don't know why Wyoming is better than Grand Canyon. Sundance. Wicks a team full of scrappers. Cam. You gotta button it up. Jaden Henley is a player. He's from UNLV, I think they still, I think they still have, uh, drew. Player, coach. Player Coach. I gotta button it up then. Yeah. Isn't it Bryce Drew? I believe it's still Bryce Drew. Yeah. Okay. All right. All right. I'm not seeing them on the, on the ESPN coaching changes, uh, article. Bryce Drew's a hack. Some are saying, well, yeah. Well, uh, all right. I, what's New Mexico's coach name? Eric. Eric, o Olen, O. Okay. Oline or Olen? OLEN. Olen. Okay. Yeah. Uh, all right. I think that's, uh, about a wrap for the mountain west. What about the Sunbelt? Hmm. I, I don't know anything about the Sunbelt, to be honest with you guys. Um, I think James Madison is putting together squad again. I think, uh, some people are high on App State is what I'm hearing. Arkansas State maybe. Yeah. That coach about the Sunbelt. I didn't, I didn't, I read a few, um, like I, I saw some like top 25 mid-major stuff. No one from the Sunbelt, uh, jumped out at me. I'm sure James, I'm sure James Madison will reload, but besides that, nothing notable. All right. Well then let's move on. What about the WCC? I mentioned Gonzaga. I'm very high on them. Graham, EK, uh, Braden, Huff. Tie on Grant Foster. I think it goes without saying they're, they're a, a talented team. How that all comes together, I'm not entirely sure. It's kind of the way we way you look at Gonzaga as, as you know, in general, as we tip off seasons. But I think the Zags are gonna dominate this conference. Um, I mean, St. Mary's can nip at their heels a little bit, but that's all I really got. Yeah. Um, the tie on Grant Foster situation was interesting. I, I saw that he got his waiver denied three times. Yes. One of them was just a couple weeks ago, and then three or four days later I see he's good to go. So I thought that was interesting. It looks like he's getting kind of the PAA treatment, um, for some JUCO ball. He played early in his career. I see, I, I I scrolling through Twitter and I just see a video of him standing in court. Yeah. Like with his, with his lawyers around him. And he's like, he's like, yeah, Mark Hughes in the back all drunk. Yeah. And then he goes out on the floor in his first, uh, exhibition game and it's just, it erupts The kennel erupts. Yeah. I like, uh, have you guys looked into San Fran at all the dos? Yeah. That was one of the only teams I looked at. Yep. They returned this point Guard Beasley, and then a forward, uh, Tyron Riley. And then they got the d one of the Diaz brothers from, uh, Pitt. Yeah. The Diaz Graham. Yeah. So that'll be fun. He's, I don't know how good they are, but I think in the west coast that he brings it every night. I think the a CC might've been a little too much for him, but you put him in the w ccc, he's going and playing, you know, Santa Clara, he is gonna play hard. It's gonna be good. I like San Fran a lot. Good. I would be excited if the Dons are good. Yep. Um, all right. We'll move on to the, uh, lower tier. Uh, I guess I didn't mention the A 10, but we, we consider them, uh, low major because they do not have FBS football. Um, do you guys have anything in the, uh, a 10 here? Um, St. Louis, uh, gets Robbie Avila, correct? Yeah, I guess, uh, VCUs and guess I do rebuild. Do I need to button it up? I'm, I'm having technical difficulties. No, you're good. You're good. Yeah. The St. Louis thing, it was like, I remember writing this down last year. This exact thing I'm gonna write down. I remember writing it down last year. I like this George Washington team. Rafael Castro. He's big kids. 6, 10, 14, and nine. Last year they got a Duquesne Guard. It's a reach. Yeah, probably. I'll tell you who I like, um, is, okay. Uh, Loyola Chicago. Give them to win the conference. Yeah. They get uh, they get Dotson. Uh, k Dotson from UNM last year didn't play a ton. He was, he was dense backup, but when he got time he could shoot the ball. He can handle the ball. Um, Dave Wil Veris, he was on the team last year. He was a kid that could just light it up. He had a game. It might've been in the like Hawaii tournament. Uh, he just went off. Josh, Ola, Joseph from Cal is a good player. Xavier, Amos, miles. Rubin, like, I think this team has a ton of talent. Um, loyal Chicago is gonna be my sleeper in the A 10. I like that. So you guys are George Washington. I read some Snubby article. I Yeah, I think they're a bottom feeder. Oh, they're not, dude. No, I saw some, I they were in one of the, uh, mid-major, top 20 fives that I read. So there's some hype I saw 6, 10, 14, and nine rebounds. And I was like, whoa. What about Archie Miller's Rhode Island Club. I like it. I like it. Um, they got a kid, I wrote down Miles Corey, I remember watching some South Alabama ball last year. Mm-hmm. This is like a six, six freaking nature. You like dunked from the free throw line in a game. It was nuts. Damn. He, he could be a stud. I like that. Rhode Island had that guard kind of came. He was just the best college basketball name and it fatz uh, Fatz Russell. Yeah. Fatz Russell maybe. Remember that? Yeah. Yeah. And hey, this, I swear I didn't look this up. This was just an article on the side of ESPN on like the, where I was on the page, Loyola Chicago to where? Sister Jean Jersey Patch this year. Yeah, I had that written down. I saw that. Lock it in. Lock it in. That is true. I did have, I had it written down. Sister Jean died. Mm-hmm. Oh, that's a, yeah, I mean, that's a great point. That's an emotional tidbit that you have to storyline respect as a gambler. Yes, dude. The storyline of course. Uh, what about the Missouri Valley, Drake, Loyola or, uh, Drake Bradley, I like, I don't know, state really. I've been hearing a lot of good things outta Illinois State. They were, I think they were pretty good last year and they returned their, basically their whole roster. So I got a, uh, contact down in Illinois State. Hmm. Somebody I have connected with, he does a podcast for the Illinois basketball team. Excellent. What is it called? I don't, I not know if you don't mind shouting him out. I, I feel like it would, well, I would love to shout him out. I was told this by my 21-year-old brother. It's a friend of a friend or a friend's brother, so Okay. A friend of a friend, a friend's cousin. My, yeah. Correct. That's right. My ex-wife's my ex-wife's future mother-in-law. Correct? Yes. Like I said, it's a connection. Okay. It's not nothing. It's not nothing. Um, well, Lord, you got anything? Yeah, it's gonna be Murray State for me. And the MVC, uh, they have a kid, Brock Vice from North Texas. Didn't get much run, but he is like, I think I saw he is like seven one. I like that. Like some size down low. Um, they have a Louisville and a West Virginia transfer. Dylan Anderson from Boise. So they got some like guys from notable programs. Uh, but the big thing I noticed, Mason Miller from Creighton and Fred King from Creighton both transferred to Murray State. So I don't know if there's some connection there between some assistant coaches or something, but we had a pipeline from Creighton to Murray State. Um, interesting. I like the roster makeup there. Very interesting. Uh, okay, let's get into the, the, the, the mud if you will, Ted. The lower of the low tiers. Uhhuh, we're talking WAC neck, NAAC, SWAC, wherever the hell you want to take this. The Ivy League, I don't care. Uh, I'll start it off with one team that I'm looking at. I mean, the Big West. The big West might be a six bid league. Um, shout out. Shout out to the guy I saw on Twitter who tweeted that. Um, I wish I could give him a proper shout out. Uc, Santa Barbara, Aiden Hanney. Whoa. Yeah. Um, maybe he's, maybe he's, uh, back to being good on the West Coast again. Hmm. I don't know. Um, I'm seeing some steam on, um, on, uh, uc, Santa Barbara outta the Big West. Uh, I do have two lane listed down here, but that's, I guess that's the American, I don't know why I have them, uh, penciled in here. I've got some stuff on the Big Sky as well too that I'll get into in a bit. But, uh, Lordie, I know you wanted to talk to us about the Swac. I do have a Swac team circled, and this is just news that trickled in throughout the summer that caught my eye. Oh wow. Bethune Cookman is quietly putting together like a mid-major level roster. They have Arterial Morris is, I, I think he was a highly recruited guy. Um, he's a transfer from Texas. Huh? Going into the Swac. Uh, they got Ricky Mitchell. He's a kid from San Jose State. Jacoby Hedy was a good score. Um, I think he might have been in the Swac already last year. They got an EKU transfer, um, who's a, who's a good program in the aun, but they have this guy, Dr. Bradley guy gets up 25, 25 shots a game. He'll shoot it from anywhere on the court. Good score. Um, I mean, you just don't see a roster makeup like this in the swac very often. So I think they are going to be a bet on team for me. Maybe, maybe find some spots in the non-con. The Swac always has some ridiculous travel early in the year, but I think there'll be a contender in the swac. Ooh, I like that. Bad clubs, anything, anything at the, the low major level that you, that stood out? I like Charleston. Any bad clubs that you like? No, I don't like bad clubs. I like Charleston though. Charleston's not a bad club. Okay. Chris Mack is a good coach. I like this Charleston Club. I haven't looked into the roster too much. I know that they're rated pretty high in a lot of mid-major polls. I just really like Chris Mack, JP Re's former coach bailed him outta jail. He's a team guy. He's a locker room guy. He's a good coach. Good. Um, yeah, I, I, I tend to agree with that. Um, hold on here. Technical difficulties. I apologize. Uh, let me, uh, let me give you something here. And I'm gonna shout out the spread inspector. Wow. Um, because if he was here, he would pull up something like this. Yeah. And, and don't worry about the spread inspector, our listeners. He's doing fine. You all right? He's in good health. Yes. He's, uh, don't, he's just no longer with us, but, uh, but he is, but he's in good health, but he is no longer alive and well. Yeah. Yes. Uh, he would shout something out like this on the show, and I know he would, the university of, uh, matchup to watch next week, the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy Tactics at Lindenwood on November 6th. Now, this, uh, university of Health Sciences Club is an NAIA team with 360 students, where I believe there's also a, I believe there's also a game between, uh, some club and a women's team, if I'm not mistaken. Yeah. I, that's like some Mississippi school. University for women. I think we had this discussion last year. They somehow have men. A men's team. Yeah. Yeah, I think we did. So I think we did. So that's, um, yeah. I'll, I'll give you my big sky. My big sky. Uh, please rundown here. Listen, the big sky, there is no value in the big sky as far as, uh, preseason there. As far as preseason, betting, as far as I I say this year in and year out, do not bet the big sky in any non-conference matchups fade them. Although there is the big sky and, uh, summit and, uh, summit League Cha. Um, which by the way, the Summit League could be interesting. Uh, the St. Thomas Club might take the next step, new arena, but uh, big sky look. The outlook for the big sky is Montana. Alright. Montana's heavy, heavy favorites to win this league. I think they win this league with ease. Um. They are gonna be, uh, challenged a little bit by Portland State. Don't sleep on this Portland State Club. All right. They, uh, they bring three starters back, which is not nothing. Um, but, uh, gimme Montana. Montana's gonna win this thing with ease. I think this is a legit Montana team. This is one of the best they've had in a while. They were turning a, a pretty good core. They added some portal depth. I don't have it pulled up, uh, as to the names in the, in the league, but, uh, their guy Josh Vasquez, average 14 last year. I think he can, uh, average 15 plus this year in this league. Um, this league, the big sky. Um, 60 plus, 60% plus win rate at home over the last 20 years. So, damn, watch out for the watch out for the home road splits in the big sky. That's one of my favorite courts in college basketball. Which one? Montana. Oh yeah, I know. The giant, giant grizzly at Yes, I know. Um, but yeah, Montana's minus one 50 to win it. Um, I actually, the go on. Sorry. The way that I would go in this one is you actually bet,'cause the regular season doesn't end up mattering that much. I mean, even if Montana doesn't win the regular season by some stretch, Portland State could knock'em off once and somehow Montana could lose the regular season. But let's not forget there's a one bid league of course, right? Yes. Along with the, a lot of these, uh, we're talking about here. So you bet the tournament champion in the preseason, you bet it now Montana plus one 20 to win the tournament. And then you might be sitting on a minus 200, 2 50 favorite when it comes to the championship game in the league. Good call. I want, I gotta give a shout out to St. Thomas. Dude. They added. Yeah, so I, major recruits, you're right, they're in a new building. I'm definitely gonna go, uh, they host Green Bay, November 13th, Doug Gottlieb's Boys. I'm gonna go to that game for sure. Uh, but yeah, it's pretty world class. You know, the problem is, it's in, I don't, lorde's, probably never been to St. Paul, but St. Paul's old, so it's really tight. It's not grided out. So there's no quite literally no parking around this place. Yes, it's jammed into a city, but it's a nice place. They play hockey there too. Austin Hero is playing for the, for the club Tyler. Oh, brother. Yes. Mm-hmm. I don't know how good he is though. I've been reading some articles and his name never gets mentioned. But they, they have, uh, the Summit League. I can't remember his name off the top of my head, but I watched him play. He is pretty good. I don't know. He is a six five kid, you know, they're okay. But, uh, yeah. St. Thomas, I think they, I think they're gonna run away with the Summit League. Good. I like that. They deserve it. They waited long enough. I think both teams in Minnesota, I mean, we're gonna quietly have two decent college basketball teams in the state of Minnesota in St. Paul, Minneapolis. And they definitely should play each other. Yeah, they should. Uh, I know that, uh, Nico Medved is, is vying for that. Yes. Um, I will give you a name to watch out for in the. In the, uh, low, mid major. One player in specific that I'm looking at is, his name is Jalen Moore from Quinnipiac the Naac. He's six seven. He's a forward, he got a lot of offers in the portal. However, he stayed loyal to Quinnipiac averaged 18 nine and two two steals last, uh, last year. NB he's an NBA player. Um, so really watch out for Quinnipiac. Oh yeah. What, what keeps you staying at Quinnipiac? The girls. Yeah, I was gonna say, is it a, do they have, but you know, there's pretty ladies out west. I've heard of those. Those Connecticut girls at Quinnipiac are next level. Could be true. Could be true. I, I. Yeah, I mean, I, I'd have to do some research on that. I'm not entirely sure. Although he could be mixed up or he could be mixed up in the mafia. Maybe they got some NIL money. Oh yeah. Maybe he's playing underground poker. Mm-hmm. That's a good point. Yeah. I mean, these mid, these, these lower mid major guys got a big money too. Yeah. That's gonna come out by the way, that's gonna come out lower. Well, mid major teams are gonna get, we've seen it. Um, we've seen it. We, we've got allegations. There's been allegations at Sacramento State. Yeah. Uh, I can't remember the other schools off the top of my head, but there's Eastern Mish. Eastern Mish. Yep. That's right. Um, there is a team down in Louisiana too, I think. I'm pretty sure. Yeah. There's some, um, that's, that's one thing to watch out for. It could be another shoe that drops. You might see some, some teams indicted, some players indicted in scandals. Correct. But, uh, yeah, it is what it is. All right. Let's, let's get into our, uh, little fun segment here. The, we're gonna do a snake draft of our, our favorite bets to make. Now this could be anything. Uh, uh, we left, no, we didn't really create rules for this. This is whatever you want it to be. Let the imagination roll here. And I'm gonna start with lordy. Lordy gets a one one. Ooh. One, one. All right. Um, lemme pull up my notes here. My first pick in the favorite bets draft. This is one we see quite a bit in the low majors. We talked about travel spots. Um, these teams don't have a ton of money. Maybe they're busing back and forth. Uh, maybe they're traveling across the country. There are times I, I know for a fact it happened in the Sunbelt a lot, and I looked out for these spots. Teams will play three, three to four road games in a row. Um, the last game in a long road stretch of three or more games is just a grueling ask of these kids sleeping in hotels for weeks at a time. I like fading best westerns I like fading a team at the end of a three plus game road trip. Good. I really like that. Um, all right, I'm gonna go second pick. I'm taking the sandwich spot. Uh, this is a rare opportunity, all right? You normally are looking at look ahead spots. Let down spots after a big win. This is where you sandwich a team in the middle of those two. All right. It might be. Coming off a big win. Maybe I don't care if they're on the road or at home. Come off a big win. Uh, you fired up your home crowds into it. You maybe play a sleepy snoozy game. You have a look ahead spot on the other side of that. So maybe it's a Wednesday, maybe it team plays Saturday, Wednesday. Saturday. They come off a big win on Saturday they have a ranked matchup or the following Saturday and you have that middle week Wednesday game and you can lose focus easily in those spots. So I look to fade teams in that area. Love it. That's a sharp pick. Bad clubs. You got two picks? Yeah, two picks. I got the snake coming around. I like Kansas as a short ho, home favorite. Okay. Kansas under bill self is 303 and 21. They've achieved seven undefeated seasons in the arena and, and has won more conference titles than home losses under Bill Self, Kansas at home, Kansas at home, Kansas at home. Short favorites specifically, or, or you just like them? If you can get Kansas on the money line at minus one 40 or better take it every single time. Yeah, I would take that a step further. One of mine is probably, I, I won't, I won't pick it right now, but Big 12 Short home? Yeah, just in general. Yeah. Uh, go ahead. Gimme your second pick back clubs. I like early Saturday morning, 10 30, 10 o'clock. Big East unders you got like Butler's, Seton Hall and neither team can score the basketball. You've, nobody else is on the under early in the day. You feel like a genius. It's a great way to get Saturday started. I love that. Uh, okay. I'm gonna go with, I'm gonna go with fading. A team traveling two time zones. Yeah, right. Um, we've seen it, I don't have the statistics in front of me, but, uh, Oregon traveling to Rutgers. Maybe, you know, maybe the other way around. Um, I don't, and Ray mentioned some in the Lord already mentioned some in the lower tiers too. I mean, you, you've got new, new teams and new places. Maybe it's Delaware traveling to UTEP Fade. Those teams fade'em. Yes. Um, I think. The Big 10 kind of shaked itself out a little bit towards the middle part of the season. I think it's more of an early year type thing. Like the first teams that travel to time zones is where you can capitalize. That's right. And then maybe over the course and it's, and usually when they go on these road trips, it's two, three games. Like Correct. They don't go out there just, you know, Oregon might play Penn State and then Rutgers and then Maryland, right? Yes. So maybe it's the first game of that travel, uh, correct. Travel period. Right. So that's where I'm at. Two time zones, Fatu. Great. Pick lot, lot very prevalent in today's, uh, landscape with the conference realignment. Yes. Yep. Lordy, you're up twice. Alright. Uh, my two picks to close us out. First one I will go is, uh, home team, home unranked team favored over a rent team. Yes. Yes. This. This is always, I mean, Vegas is giving you the playbook. They're they're telling you exactly what to do. Yes. Um, there's no spot like it, especially, uh, big 10 home teams. I remember last year Penn State was like minus two against Perdue and they won by 30. Um, so that's a spot to look out for. Unranked home team favorite over ranked team. That's a, that's first round grade. Yeah. Yeah. I mean that's, that's it. Is that is, that was a sleeper. We slide down the draft board. Oh, it's just, you just lock onto that. We let that one slide down. The draft board. That should have been one my, my first pick. Correct. And to finish it out. Um, kind of a situa, well not situational, but um, my last pick will be underdog in a low total game. I mean, we have some of these conferences. Where coaches just grind it out. Uh, I think in the neck, the Northeast Conference we were seeing totals at, in the one 15 to one 18 range, every point becomes increasingly more valuable as you lower the total. I like underdogs getting points in those low scoring slogs. I love that. Love that. All right. Uh, I'm gonna go with Montana at home as a, uh, short, as a, as a short favorite. If you can get Montana playing at home, minus 1 25 minus, I'll go up to minus 1 35. And under, uh, Montana at Home, big Sky basketball in general, big Sky Home, I just mentioned the clip, 60% home favorite splits. Uh, but Montana specifically is my favorite, favorite club to bet. Everybody knows that. Yeah. Yeah, everybody knows that. Not an easy place to win. Not an easy place. I'm stuck between rock and a hard place here. I have two bets that I, two things I really like to do. I'll say the first one, I'm not gonna play it. It's an honor roll mention. I'm not gonna use this, this is not an official play, but I just love betting Feast Week. I just, I just love feast week. Just hammering the board on feast week after we, after we preach to be patient. I love let it this week you just let the clip unload and Peace week. Yes. Day games, day games, baby day games. You're at work. You just, I love it. Uh, yeah. But the real one is Coach Cali Perry early in the season, his teams are really ready. They're never ready. They always come on late every single time. Fading Coach Cal early in the season. Okay. I like that. All right, boys. Well that was a fantastic show. I think that about wraps it up. Um. Uh, let me ask you one thing before we sign off. We went through all the conferences, mid-majors, low tiers, power Five. What's your favorite conference, Lordy? What's the, what's the deepest, what's the best conference? Uh, it's gonna be, it's gonna be the Big 10 for me. Love the Big 10. Think there's a ton of good teams. Uh, we could see a lot of battles up around the top bad clubs. I mean, I was gonna say the Big 10 myself. I think it's gonna be the most fun conference. Uh, we mentioned it earlier. It's just a lot of fun. Matchups. I like the big 10. I think it's the deepest. All right, I'll go with the big 12. Um, to just, good. Yeah, Derrick. Uh, to be a contrarian on the show here, but, uh, physicality in the Big 12. We've seen him succeed in the, in the tournament as well. I love the Big 12 every night. It's a, it's a hammer. It's, it's just, it's fun to watch. Um, do you have any, uh, national title, final Four picks, anything like that before we sign off here on the preview episode? Lordie? Um, I don't, right now. I, I think we'll see how things play out. Probably try and find some value. Uh, obviously Houston is the favorite. Um, and I think they have a chip on their shoulder, but no, nothing, nothing yet. Bag, clubs, any futures, any, uh, I'm playing all the Louisville Future Futures, acc Final Four National Title. I'm gonna ride this Houston Club again all year. I'm gonna ride this Houston club. I want Kelvin Sampson to get it done. It's gonna be interesting to see how it shakes out it, you know, new guys, but let's, let's figure it out. Let's see it. Houston. Gimme Houston. Are they the favorite twin at all? I saw them as the favorite. Yeah. Are they plus 800? Is that it? I, uh, I don't know. Yeah. I I don't have a book in front of me. Well, let me look here. This was from a while ago. Uh, all right. Let's see here. I had'em at plus nine 50, but that was okay. A month ago maybe. All right. Them and Purdue. Yeah, Purdue is definitely gonna be up there. Um, I'm excited. This is, I mean, it's, it's. I think college basketball is headed in the right, they're getting more and more talent into college basketball, and I think it's a good thing. It adds parody, gives more teams chances, and it's just be, it's gonna be a keep getting better and better as a product. Love it. Love it boys. Well, I'm excited for tip off on Monday. We got a huge slate next week. We'll hop back on the mics next week. Get into a rhythm, get into a flow with things, get some data under our belt.
