How Government intervention in the airline industry has been typically unsuccessful, leading to multiple failed airlines and the need for it to create a sustainable business model for aviation entities in order to keep businesses and jobs in Africa, as well as pay off debt and increase revenue. We also discussed the role Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Africa Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC) and private stakeholders.
