This episode features Virginia Echavaria. Founder of Shimoshi Limited, a social enterprise dedicated to improving energy access of schools in Uganda. She is responsible for fostering and leading the partnership with the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), providing technical advice and support to the Kampala Climate Change Action Strategy. This includes designing and establishing green business investment in 79 KCCA supported schools to promote sustainable and energy efficient solutions. We spoke about how her improved institutional cook stove reduces emission which in turn is used as carbon credits.
