WORD The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him— my father’s God, and I will exalt him! Exodus 15:2 THOUGHT The Lord is many things. He is the Designer and Creator of everything. He is the Sustainer; without his upholding, his management, and his governing, life would not exist. He is Savior; he conquered and halted the destruction of humanity by the evil one. He is the Deliverer: holy, righteous, all-knowing, ever-present, and neverchanging—the King of all the ages. Not only is he all of these things, but he is also our Father who loves us and calls us his sons and daughters, his heirs. We are able to confidently and proudly call him our God, our Father. Because of who God is, and because of his great mercy, love, and grace toward us, he is deserving of all worship and honor and praise. For all his countless wonderful characteristics, he will be glorified. He is our God, and we will exalt him forever! PRAYER Lord, you truly are my strength, my song, and my very source for life in all its fullness. I praise and glorify you, Mighty God. Amen. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
