After a career as a reporter and writer, I've realized I'd rather talk than write. I'm also 65, so I chose a topic that really matters to me...being a senior.

I'm living it big-time. I have type two diabetes. It's caused some damage to my body, which adds an extra layer of uncertainty to my future. As it turns out, the diabetes has been a blessing. It's taught me how to take care of my body, my most precious resource.

I did such a good job learning how to take care of myself, I can now turn my attention to other things.

This show is a labor of love and I hope you stick around while I get better at this. I promise you heartfelt, thoughtful talk about how to make the most of this time of our lives. While I promise I will spend time on how to stay active and involved in your life, also expect a lot of talk about navigating  the relationships in our life, especially our relationship  with ourselves.
