Today we’re sitting down with Klay Welter and Trevan Sparboe, the creators and founders of Proof Donuts & Coffee. Working side-by side on their own things, they had the realization that their real opportunity was to partner together and the power of partnerships. We have a conversation about learning to make dough, finding the right investors, using unique avenues to create a buzz around what you’re creating, and finding the strength and confidence in a strong partnership. We also discuss the journey that led these two childhood best friends back together after a decade apart, the events they did to create excitement around their donuts, the power of collaboration, and the happy accidents that built their brand to the distinguishable brand it is today.
