The Vault at 201 N Broadway

How to Cultivate a Safer Community using Crime Prevention through Environmental Design

KaVo & MarceB, Season 2 Episode 40

Today on this Vault short we are joined by Daniel Brooks with the Billings Chamber of Commerce and Joe Stout with Downtown Billings Alliance to discuss how to cultivate a safer environment using crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED).

We dive into the meaning of CPTED, the benefits of having an assessment done, and what to do with your assessment results as a business/property owner. We discuss the strategic collaboration their organizations have in partnering together to carry out these assessments for their business communities and the positive impacts Dan and Joe have seen within the community since they started doing the assessments.
