Episode #7: Antifragile
In this episode, I share a personal story from the night I gave birth to my fourth child, where an unexpected bike race on TV became a powerful metaphor for endurance and antifragility. As I watched the cyclists push through their pain and exhaustion, I realized I was on my own journey through discomfort, much like they were. It reminded me that growth comes not from avoiding pain but from moving through it.
Throughout the episode, I talk about how this concept of antifragility—growing stronger under pressure—applies not just to physical challenges like childbirth, but to the emotional and spiritual struggles we all face. I explore how scripture, especially stories from the Old Testament, illustrates that God allows us to experience hardship because He knows it will make us stronger. Even Christ, through His suffering in Gethsemane, taught us that true growth comes from embracing the hardest moments in life.
Join me as I unpack how discomfort is not something to be feared but welcomed, because it’s what ultimately leads us to joy, strength, and transformation. You were made to be antifragile—to grow through the challenges you face.
