There is something that shifts when you are with a horse.

Not because they are doing anything to you, but because they are not asking you to be anything other than what you are.

In this conversation, Kate Neligan and I explore what it means to listen, to horses, and to yourself. As an equine partnered coach and animal communicator, Kate shares how these animals help us reconnect to our inner voice and build trust from the inside out.

We talk about intuition in a simple, real way. How to recognize it, how to trust it, and how to tell the difference between guidance and fear.

We also touch on the deeper layers, the mother wound, self trust, and the patterns that shape how safe we feel. Horses meet us in those places without judgment, and without needing us to fix anything first.

One thing that stayed with me is this idea of safety. Not something we control, but something we create through presence and honesty.

Maybe that is the invitation.

To slow down. To listen. To trust yourself a little more.

In this episode:

  • How horses reflect what is happening beneath the surface
  • The difference between intuition and fear
  • Healing patterns and rebuilding self-trust
  • Letting go of control and allowing connection
