May 12, 2023
Chris Walker

Today, we are joined by Ian Larios, chef and nutritionist to two current Ultimate Fighting Championships Champions and dozen champions across other promotions. Early life, he found a love of cooking, and while rowing up in Malaysia in the world of combat sports, he just wanted to help those fighters around him suffer less when trying to make weight. We will dive into what he's done to change the way fighters make weight, and how he helped UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jamahal Hill prepare for his first title fight.

More importantly we will dive into the top things impacting regular people from being healthy and finding a "diet"/a way of eating that best supports their goal. We will answer the questions:

Why is obesity on the rise?
Why is it so hard to "eat healthy" especially in places like the United States?
What can the average person do feel better based on what they are putting into their body?

As we bring it full circle we will talk about the personal highs and challenges of following service based passions.
