The idea I’m exploring here is about regularly checking in with ourselves to see how we’re showing up in the relationship — are we being more of a parent than a teacher, or more of a teacher than a friend? This kind of reflection helps us understand the dynamic we’re creating, and gives us a more realistic view of the outcomes we can expect based on how we treat our horse.
