The idea I’m exploring here is about regularly checking in with ourselves to make sure we’re not showing up more as a parent than a teacher, or more as a teacher than a friend. This framework helps us reflect honestly on the dynamic we’re creating, and gives us a realistic perspective on what kind of outcome we can expect based on how we choose to treat our horse.
