Saying "I'll be happy when..." is a myth
Show Notes

How often do you find yourself saying:

"I'll be happy when..."
"I'll feel better when I get through this thing at work."
"Everything will be fine once this is over."

In this podcast I'm talking how waiting for happiness when you achieve some goal is not going to serve. You'll be happy for a moment, but eventually you'll set a new goal, or a new achievement and you'll say "I'll be happy when..." all over again.

Therefore you spend all the in-between time frustrated, sad, and unhappy because you are waiting to hit this goal to be happy.

I share with you how I broke this habit myself, that it's ok to be happy on the journey towards your goal, and that no matter what the obstacle you encounter on your way to your goal i's simply just a part of your journey and a detour in the right direction.

Learning to appreciate the present, while working towards a goal will allow you to be happy on your journey!!
